My husband introduced me to this podcast yesterday. I’m currently 36 weeks pregnant and not sleeping good. He asked me how I slept last night and I said, “John Crist is the real MVP. He cured my pregnancy insomnia. I was out like a light after “ Has Pride Month gone too far?” And woke up to the “ "Do better" people are the worst “ topic. Seriously, I fell asleep laughing. Maybe our little guy will have a great sense a humor from all the late night comedy. 🤣 This is quickly becoming my new favorite podcast!

Love this podcast cuz John genuinely seems to want to help people through it! I always laugh but get encouraged also by his insight. 👏🏻 Loved that he shared a Bible verse! I thought it was so spot on what he said about mental health & how it’s the new “God said.” 🤦🏻♀️ Such a fine line between acknowledging our mental health needs & not letting them dominate all of our decisions.

I stumbled across your podcast, and I am laughing throughout all of it, especially the part about being jealous that your girlfriend can get laughs from low-level, overused jokes, and your high-level stuff is flying over heads. Now that I realize you have a podcast too, how am I ever going to keep up with all of your content? 😆 Thanks for being real and funny and genuinely a riot to listen to just chatting. One day this Idaho girl will catch a live show!!

It is very valuable to hear a man like you, John Crist, follows God and is a Christian. I am very happy to know that. I send you blessings, and hope you become a wise man to be able to communicate to the followers that are interested to hear what you have to say in regards with the Holy Bible and God’s creation. Thank you John Crist. I was very much entertained.

Thank you for always making me laugh so hard that I cry…every time. A great comeback story is what Christianity is all about, redemption and transparency. Keeping it real. Is true humility. Not perfection, but hope and faith. Understating our two natures of matter and spirit. The spirit being perfect and Holy by the power of the Gospel of what Jesus accomplished in our behalf. But still navigating life with our fallen physical nature. Living two lives and operating in both. The Bible is nothing but stories of redemption, healing and victory….Sure accountability too, but followed by endless mercy, Grace and loved by our creator Father. Thanks to Jesus. Loving this new project you’re doing John, keep up the good work. We need the world to see Christianity in a real and applicable form to our daily life, and yours is the evidence of it. God bless and everyone working to make this happen. I knew you’ll bounce back bigger and better for the glory of God. Many blessings 🙏

This is the best Podcast I've ever heard. You nailed it! Social media is packed solid with mental health issues and narcissism. And nobody is helping anybody else by telling them why they're an empath or why their problems stem from childhood trauma. It is such a crutch for anybody that needs to grow up. They're just providing excuses so that the people with the issues don't have to "do better" . 😏 (See what I did there?)

As a Christian do you feel like Christians should be fighting to get the rainbow back since it’s a gift from God to promise He won’t flood the earth again? I feel like the rainbow has become so perverted that I can’t enjoy it for what it is.
@GA33Y1232 жыл бұрын
…He talks about everyone having a freedom of expression, so while you can do with it what you like, fighting and getting angry for a cluster of colors seems silly. Not everything is an attack. You can still enjoy the rainbows 🌈 you said it yourself it’s God’s promise so just keep that close to your heart when you start having negative feelings over it and let it bring His peace to you. 🙌🏼

I’m 50, so I grew up with a totally different mindset toward work. This mental health thing drives me insane. If I hear “work-life balance” one more time, I swear. Shut up and get to work. Lately I’ve been saying we need to bring back the stiff upper lip. Stop obsessing about your anxiety, your gender, whatever and get through. I’m not saying no one needs help, but at this point we’re creating “conditions.”
@tuffdude77952 жыл бұрын
People shouldn't live to work and I wish our country acknowledged that. People need mental health days and sometimes can't come in to work because of that. Corporations want to exploit workers and stuff like what you said here helps them to continue to do that. I am absolutely far off of this channel's target audience. I am a left wing atheist. I have no clue why it even got recommended to me.

As a communications professional, I can tell you that "Introverted extrovert" is not a thing. You can be one or the other, or a balance of the 2. What the article is referring to (or trying) is type A versus Type B introverts. I am a type A introvert, so many people confuse my super enthusiastic and outspoken interactions with me wanting to be around people a lot. I actually prefer to be alone, and that is how I recharge ALWAYS. ... NONE of this has anything to do with being nice or rude, nosy or minding your own business. That's just mature behavior lol

When I first met my husband, he knew NOTHING about Christianity or the Bible. He grew up in the same state as me just on the other side of the city! Noah? Nope. Moses? Nope. King David? Nope. Adam and Eve? Nope. David and Goliath? Nope. I guess he knew Jesus was associated with Christianity but didn’t know anything about him. After he became a Christian, 7 months later during his first Christmas as a Christian, it finally hit him: CHRISTmas. Christmas is all about Jesus! I asked him if he didn’t know that prior to then, what did he thing all the mangers and stuff were about? He said he thought religious people put religious stuff up and do religious stuff at every holiday because that’s what religious people do.
