Think because more people recommend great spots that they are going to great places, but giving the boys a free meal does bump up the score, that's pretty evident

@Shokkerz1976 I don't mind them giving high scores if the food is top drawer but recently seen bang average food and he's giving crazy compliments when the average foodie knows its nonsense. His comments rarely match up with local customers remarks on stuff like UberEats or Google reviews which makes you think he's reading a script the shop created.
