Maybe they listened to the choir. Seriously, listen to the choir in the background, they keep singing "Guys and dolls, guys and dolls, guys and dolls, guys and dolls" over and over again. I thought when the clip started it might be "Guys and Dolls", but I wasn't sure. But when the choir kept singing the title of the musical it was obvious.

I was born after 2000, I grew up watching the Disney movies before that year ( as well as others), then again I’ve always loved the classics, Disney or not! I grew up watching Benji, Mary Poppins, The Wizard of Oz, The Sound of Music, Singin In the Rain, E.T, ( original) Adventures In Babysitting, The Karate Kid, Swiss Family Robinson, The Moon Spinners, the original Karate Kid Trilogy, The Black Stallion, That Darn Cat! (1968), Back to the Future, The Moon Spinners, Oliver!, EVERY Disney animated movie, Stand By Me, Escape from Witch Mountain, Annie (1982), Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Rudy, etc. All of those movies I grew up watching as a kid. 😊

I would just like to finally say that 2 years and some change later I found this video and watched the clip of Moulin Rouge not knowing anything about it beforehand and it CATAPULTED me into a full on obsession and I just got to watch it on Broadway today. So thank you ♥️
