And he effing said, "Im realizing how white this is now."- No offense to The Beatles, but he shouldn't be wearing that shirt. And also tv is not at its best right now, the 70s-00s shows were the real winners.

Don't expect flying cars from that timeline to be in this one. Put it this way, If you don't like how DOT (Department of Transportation) is putting regulation on the road when you drive your car, you'll definitely WILL NOT like how FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) regulates the air when you fly in it. Because you'll have to put up with them to do so. Otherwise, they ground you.

Actually don't forget that Get Smart was a Parody of James Bond 1st as they wanted a JB Comedy as Mel Brooks was known for that style so he did Get Smart and as far as Inspector Gadget that was more so a Hybrid of like like 3 maybe 4 Shows of Doctor Who, James Bond. Get Smart, Sherlock Holmes!

This entire episode was a flashback to my childhood (I'm 51). All these shows were in syndication when I was in elementary school and would be on after school, after the last soap opera and before the evening news. Although I enjoy the internet and the additional choices it provides ('cause I still live in the country!), one benefit of life before the internet is that I was exposed to a lot of random stuff because I watched or read whatever I could get my hands on. There were weekends where I read the Reader's Digest Handyman Guide and learned about plumbing out of boredom :-). It is too easy for my kids to give up on a TV show or book because they know they can easily find something else that is in their genre.

I'm super impressed with how many shows these kids know. I love watching 60s shows and I have seen all of these except for Get Smart, but now that I know Mel Brooks is a part of it I'm going to have to go watch that immediately. He's amazing with what he does in film.

That's more of a Regional staple. And if you live in the Piedmont-Triad of North Carolina like I do, you'd see it on WFMY NEWS 2, everyday at around 3:00 or 4:00 pm. Since both show and character revolve around North Carolina.

When I was little I always wanted one of my parents to sing a lullaby. Problem is my dad only knows two songs (aside from nursery rhyme songs) by heart. Those songs are Away in A Manger and the Gilligan’s Island theme song. So a few times a night I’d hear Gilligan, which is why I know all the lyrics without ever having seen a single episode

Get Smart? Omg in my country it was just called Superagent 86. Amazing! And I'm shocked how almost all of them looked familiar to me, didn't even think some of them would have aired here. And I just watched Bewitched regularly, not the others, so... I'm impressed.
