When crab legs come out at the buffet, it can be chaos and sometimes things even get violent. In Alabama, a woman was charged with assaulting an elderly man when police say a fight broke out over crab legs in February. The man suffered a cut to his head. Another video online shows absolute mayhem at a buffet in New York City over crab legs. And still more footage captured a customer barging into a kitchen at another restaurant to ask for more crab legs after they ran out. Personally this is depressing, as a kid I grew up eating at buffets. The thing that I picked up in was that if it’s out, give it some time and it’ll be replenished. There’s no need to be uncivilized about it. Everyone is there to have a good time, possibly make some new friends. But hey if all you’re doing is to stuff your face and not give a rats ass about everybody else, sure go ahead, but at least show some common decency for your fellow guests. We’re human, not animals.

I have been to hundreds of all you can eat crab legs restaurants. Some of them, just a few only put out enough crab legs for a few people, while a hundred or more people get none. Then you have to wait 15 minutes for the next batch. This is why the frenzy happens. I blame the restaurants who do this for the fights. PUT OUT ENOUGH CRAB LEGS FOR EVERYONE!
