Do Expensive Putters Actually Help You Putt Better? | Kirkland KS1

The GolfBusters tested out whether expensive putters actually help you putt better. Will a more expensive putter matter? Or are they all just a hunk of metal?

video quality is really good man, definitely not getting enough recognition! You can definitely tell you put a lot of time into these.

Postma when you miss some of your putts the main reason you miss is because you are leaving your follow through at the end of your swing. You can tell because your right hand takes the putter by itself way to the right. When you keep both hands on the putter you do much better because your swing is more conveniently following your line you are aiming for. Idk if this helps or na but I may as well try.

Also you should do this with different angles like down hill, up hill, or flat. And with a wedge or iron. Like closest to or somthing like that

I think there is too much human error involved with putting to be accurate with which is actually better! Drivers and irons there is certainly a difference in distance, spin, forgiveness etc. But putting us all about reading the break and having control of the club head

Hard to know if the results were a placebo affect of wanting the putter to be better or if it was actually the putter. 8% more putts is nothing to laugh about though!

I think you would make more putts if you took your glove off lol

Also I would try and focus on being less handsy with your putts. If you focus on letting your shoulders rock like pistons you will have less errors than your hands create. It's very difficult to have a consistent stroke when you aren't taking the putter back, and following through the same way every time.

But if we’re being straight up Brock. If the putter does actually make a difference it will make the biggest difference for an amateur putter like myself.
