I too have short stubby eyelashes but in my youth never gave it a thought. I'm also from the Mary Quant/Twiggy era and at age 15/16 like all my friends started wearing false eyelashes and drew in bottom lashes with eyeliner. In my late 20's stopped wearing lashes and at 69 still doesn't bother me. No serums have made them grow longer but apply my makeup and Bobbi Brown mascara like a professional. I'm not asked if I've had extensions rather if I've had Botox lol! For me radiant skin good figure hair and clothes are my no 1 priority. Thank u Patti for the research and wonderful video. I use Roden and Fields, my lashes grew long and I put it on my eyebrows and the last half of my brow grew back! It is expensive but lasts 5+ months. At first, I used it daily, after a few months, I began to use it 3 times a week. Your lashes look wonderful Patti. Can you show and explain how you do your eyeliner? I have watched you for 10+ yrs plus, the time flies. Revitalash made my lashes grow but curled back into my eye. You are an inspiration to me to keep putting myself together daily.

I follow a few women on You tube that purchased the Re Vita lash and the Via Beauty Eyelash serum they did one on one eye and one on the other eye. They started using both products at the same time and she had amazing results from both. She did admit that you don't start seeing result for about 2.5 to 3 months but felt that if she can get the same results for half the price she was going to continue using the Via Beauty eyelash serum. After seeing her video and a few others I purchased the Via Beauty serum and Lavish Lash eyelash and brow serum. I have been using both now religiously for about one month. I paid $28 for the VieBeauti (correct name and spelling) and I paid about $22 for the Lavish Lash serum. I am extremely happy with both. Every video I have watched they all claim it does take 3 to 4 months to see a difference but once they start growing it is amazing. I understand the ReVita Lash is about $100 0n Amazon. I didn't receive any letter from the ViaBeauty asking me to give them a 5 start review. Thank you for a great video.

Hi Patti! I have been using the LaVie serum for several weeks and can see improvement. I'm very pleased with it. I am , however, disappointed to learn that they are asking for a 5 star review. I've been asked to review many items, but never to give it 5 stars and never offered products in return. Great video Patty!! I’m Anxious to hear your update on the less expensive lash serum...I’ve been using revitalash for about 3 years and the results are so wonderful I’m afraid to try anything else! I used it daily for the first couple of months until I was happy with the results then backed down to about 4x a week and that seems to maintain my lashes and certainly makes the tube last longer! Yes, expensive but I keep my eyes peeled for sakes which helps. Also MUCH cheaper than lash extensions! Like you, I always come back to L’Oréal Voluminous for at least the last 20 years. I think you are very honest in your reviews. Just a thought, before bedtime put a little Vaseline on your lashes if you don't use the serum. Also because of your review I use the L'Oréal black mascara and love it. Plus I use the serum from HSN hst you recommended and it is great. So thank you for your videos. I will keep watching.

I have had excellent results with Rapid Lash. I purchase it from Costco 2 tubes for $49.99 and sometimes it's on sale for $39.99. At one month I had to trim a few lashes. At 3 months I had beautiful full lashes. I also use it on my brows with very good results. I enjoy your videos. Thanks

I've been using Rodan + Fields LashBoost for years. It is exactly as you described. It takes a while to see results (couple of months minimum) but once the growth cycle begins, bam its such a dramatic difference! After you get the full length of lashes which I estimate (from memory) is after finishing one entire tube, you may cut back usage to 1-3 times per week for maintenance.

You get 15% less volume in the Revitalash. It is almost a wash but you can decide on the results. In my experience the cheaper ones don't work as well and I can't remember the brand it was. It was a "generic" one. Also it has been my experience the Revitalash and Neulash make them longer but neither gives them volume. Hope this was helpful!

Do you know the contents of the serums? Because cold pressed, cold processed castor oil will grow eyelashes identically as well - and is really cheaper. It will also regrow hair where it has receded around your hairline and will regrow the last half of your eyebrows where they disappear as we get older. I'm 77 too. :) If you stop using it, you'll revert back, but sticking with it keeps it working amazingly well! On Amazon, they have before and after pictures from customers so you can see how it works. It has worked for me like a miracle. My lashes are longer than they've ever been in my life! They even sweep my reading glasses lenses! (An annoyance I'm happy to live with!!)

I do lash extensions. I have short thin blond lashes. If you have a really great technician they don't drop off. Been doing that for at least 7 years. It is worth every penny for me since I can't wear mascara at work unless it is waterproof. Water proof breaks my lashes. I don't wear eye liner any longer and makeup is so quick and easy now. I take a nap when getting fill ins.

Okay, based on the results you achieved I decided to purchase the ViaBeauty Eyelash serum. For some reason the eyelashes on my left eye quit producing on the outer half of my lid. Now I just received the serum Saturday morning (5/29) and I used it Saturday and Sunday night - applying it twice over a 3 or 4 hr span. This morning (5/31) I actually have NEW growth in the "bald" area of my eyelid where nothing had been!!! Coincidence??? I have no idea, but I will continue using the product and see what the results are and let you know. Hopeful!!!

Hi Patti! Love your videos! Revitalash is 0.118 for the 6 month tube. VieBeauty is 3ml. When 3ml. is converted to ounces is 0.101. So they are very close to being the same size.

May I suggest you try regular castor oil on your eyelashes. I have been using this for about 30 days and it works. I am 78 years young and read about castor oil and decided to try it. I had short stubby lashes, light red. I only use at night and finally noticed a difference. Anyone I have told about this agrees that it works. Hello Patti, if you’re buying through Amazon, that is totally against the Amazon partner rules. Totally. They’re doing this promotion via letter because if they did it via email, Amazon would find out and ban them. Caution-used Revitalash with applicator in container for a month and developed eye infection. Dermatologist told me to buy the one-use applicators and for each application. Common problem. Had to get new tube and throw out other. Gave up lash extensions after 8 yrs when they said come every 2 weeks for refill - $120 plus tip every month. Lol with all my other treatments. A friend used cod liver on lashes and brows with success after 3 months...

Now I’ve been using castor oil on my lashes and eyebrows. I’m 62, but in my younger years I used to wear waterproof mascara, and so to remove the mascara I used to put Vaseline on my lashes and let it stay overnight. My lashes have always been long. Part of it is hereditary and part of it I believe is contributed to the Vaseline and now the Castor Oil. I can see your lashes are long compared to your description of them being stubby from awhile ago. Try castor oil and see if it helps your lashes.

Patti, 77 must be the new 57.. you're so pretty! I actually had thick, long lashes when I was young, and, I wore false lashes, too! Well, they're sparse now, but, I'm just sticking to a good mascara for sensitive eyes, usually Neutrogena. I have dry eye and also had cataract surgery four years ago. I too have short lashes but mine are (and always have been) the same whitish color as my skin. They were skimpy and soft like hamster fur. The same with my eyebrows. Anyone looking at me without makeup would think l have neither. I decided to try petroleum jelly as l heard that can improve them. Two months in, my lashes and brows are still light but my brows are rougher so the pencil looks more natural. The lashes are not longer or darker, BUT they are fuller and more springy. I used it on my skin as well and my forehead wrinkles have softened. I am happy with these results because they fit my limited budget. Thanks so much for sharing that you too had short lashes. I have been using Latisse for two years. My lashes are definetly longer because even without mascara my old eyes can see lashes. I know it’s expensive but I have learned how to use it with my own brush and a bottle lasts me twice as long as it used to. I have thought to try others and may try the one you did. I believe we get used to a product and it’s good to change it up. As for the the company asking for 5 stars I would not use theirs because I don’t trust what they are putting in their products to get it to work so fast.

Little Poet uses castor oil. I have used it too and it worked for me. Rodan & Fields burned my eyes and it has not so good chemicals in it. I disliked liked it when "IT" sold out to L'Oreal. I reviewed a different product on Amazon and never received my gift card. Thanks for sharing.

I used this serum on both my eyebrows and eyelashes, I see the difference in my brows, not so sure about my lashes. I noticed elf also makes a $4 mascara, but I "splurged" & bought their top of the line "Lash It Loud" for $6, and it's lovely. Regards to Viabeauty: buying your 5 star rating is unethical ... but then complaining about not getting said payment is what's called in the law, "unclean hands". I had this happen with an Amazon electronics purchase, where the company only sent part of what was promised & said I'd get the rest when I gave them a 5 star review. Needless to say, I sent it all back, demanded a refund, & complained to Amazon. I wouldn't deal with such a company, no matter how good their product or well-priced.

Patti, let me ask you this. You know how they say you shouldn't keep mascara for a long time you should toss it after 3 or 4 months? I am wondering, with the revitalash, if getting a 6 month supply is maybe not such a good idea? Maybe a better idea to get the smaller size, the 3 month size, just so that it's fresher and then you replace it sooner so you have a fresher batch again? What are your thoughts on this?

Loved this review. I'm in the same boat. 70 & never great lashes,worse now. Wondering you have seen the silicone patches for wrinkles or tried them? I bought them off Amazon, tried once (just received) they do seem to give instant results,think would need to use a everyday. However, if had a special occasion a lady wanted to look especially good for,I was able to see results after only 1 use. Inexpensive, think I paid 19.99 or similar price. Will be watching Patti. I have had lash extensions and had to stop because I developed an allergy to the glue. As I entered my 70's my lashes were becoming thinner but with having the lash extensions off--they are almost non-existent! I wondered about the fact that the lash serem might change my eye color(blue)you must have had that thought because you would not want to change your beautiful eye color in any way. Hi sweet Patti! Friday night spent listening to you made my week. I love your swallow earrings with the pearls. I went to her website, but the earrings are sold out. But I sent her a message if she would get them back to please email me. Now about those beautiful eyelashes...they are beautiful. I had chemo for breast cancer that removed hair on my head, eyebrows and yes, eyelashes too. They never really ever came back in very good. Two weeks of use is not enough time to review this product. I've been using Latisse ($200) for years, but would love to find a less expensive product that does the same thing. Friends have used GrandeLash ($60) and been very happy. I love TJMaxx and have missed going there to shop. That top is gorgeous, as are you, Patti.

Even though there are some cosmetic or ingestibles for health, I hesitate to make a purchase out of concern that the product is not legitimate. Enjoy your grand twins.

I love your honesty Patti. You are always such a delight to watch! I'm spending my lazy Saturday playing catch up and binging on KZbin lol. I've only tried 3 eyelash serums, the Grande Lash (that I saw phenomenal results with) and Lash MD (that I saw absolutely no results from). I always try to go the cheaper route, so I ordered a lash serum from Amazon a few months back. I think I only paid a little over $20 for it but I honestly can not remember the name of it to save my soul (lol so that tells you it probably wasn't that great). I think I'm going to have to take the plunge though and repurchase the Grande Lash again at around $70 I believe it was. I really hate to spend that much again but it was well worth it. I saw incredible results and pretty quickly too. Oh, and I'm like you as well...I have tried a gazillion mascaras through the years (always on the hunt for that holy grail), and I ALWAYS come back to my tried and true Loreal Voluminous. I think I've been using that since the mid 80's. There just never has been nothing else on the market like it. Hope youre having a wonderful Saturday! God Bless!

Hi Patti so glad to see you today. that top is your colors it looks beautiful on you. great video i was thinking about trying the rivitalash but i went with the grand lash instead. maryEllen over 60 uses it & says it great it does take about 3-4 mos so i will let you know i also have short thin lashes & have tried alot of mascaras but they didnt make them longer.we have had our shots too but havent really gone out yet i guess ive stayed home so much that it really doesnt bother me. ive been pulling weeds all week out of my rock gardens & let me tell u im really tired!!! it is too much work now that im getting older & this body really hurts alot. i cant wait too see new pics of your grandbabies!! enjoy your visit with them. is Jim going with you?? stay safe many blessings love & hugs to you Kaye

I have almost no eyelashes just short stubby never had much. Recently started using a mascara primer helps alot also added" Ready To Wear" NEW YORK, Lash Extension, these are fibers that attach to your eyelashes (tho messy) they work. After the move maybe you can try them both were inexpensive & very helpful to me.

I'm 45 Ms. Patti and I've tried all the mascaras too, all the false lashes, and every eyelash curler..problem with fake lashes is I have tiny eyelids and glue will get into my eyes..some mascaras did more than others but not what I wanted..I have thin straight short lashes..never tried a serum but I'm giving it serious thought...I love you so much Ms. Patti💛😘🙏

Wow, I find it very offensive that a company would PAY you for a 5 star review!! Of course, there are people that do not have integrity, they just want something free!! How sad! It makes me NOT want to deal with a company that would do such a thing, first of all, but to offer a free product and then not send it to you after they got what they wanted.....??? That is terrible too! I certainly can't afford the first one and I don't think I would deal with a company who wants people to post a glowing review. If it is a good product, people would want to share that. If it isn't I would share that too I am with you Patti, I always read reviews and only believe the "verified purchaser"
