As someone who struggles with anxiety, my heart goes out to you. It can be so overwhelming and draining...talking about it with a therapist can be so helpful. I really hope you find someone that you can connect with to help you with this. I think everyone could benefit from talking with a therapist...being vulnerable is a courageous thing! I’m actually reading Brené Brown’s “The Gifts of Imperfection” right now and it’s really hitting home how I need to take care of myself using courage, compassion and connection. Keeping you in my prayers for all of this and for Elliot and his dental appointment. Carlie, you’re a great mom, wife, daughter, sister, friend, etc...we would never talk to those we love the way we talk to ourselves...I’m getting better at this. And if the dryer was giving you anxiety, don’t minimize it “it’s just a dryer, big deal; why am I getting upset” (I do this)...give yourself credit for recognizing that it’s causing you anxiety. All any of us can do, is take it one day at a time. Sending love your way. 💗

I’m the same, I have to feel on top of the house chores. Once the kids are older it’s not so anxiety inducing because you will have them to tell to do certain things and everything will click in smoother, but when you are the main one doing the chores and the littles ones are so messy and young- it can be super frustrating. Sending big hugs and please know in a few years it will be so much easier 💗💗💗💗💗💗

I love your real vlogs! That's what I love to watch. I'm a mom of two, and what really gets me down is cleaning and then turning around to clutter the next second. It's really hard to be motivated to do it in the first place. On the other hand, my kids are making memories and my house can get cleaned at the end of the day. The more time I spend cleaning, the less time I'm spending with my kids, during the day.

I really relate to this. I have anxiety but I have social anxiety. And also, I've been trying to get into the whole instagram and KZbin world but feel like I have nothing to bring to the table. Your realness is the reason that you are my favourite KZbinr. I love waking up each morning and scrolling through my instastorey feed to find yours first and check out what you guys have been up to. I’m the same way about the house, but I wasn’t before I had a family. I finally figured out that when the house was clean & tidy I felt in control regardless of how crazy an wild the kids were being. Lol some days are better than others but I totally understand! 😩

Carlie, I so relate to you. My dryer broke like 5 times in a month and it made me into mommy monster, I get frazzled if my clothes are not together in their right places. I never thought I would have anxiety but I totally do. It’s allllll good though because I’m dealing with it 🤘🏻 You bring so much to the table, by just being you, you don’t have to be an “expert” on anything except being yourself! I often feel it’s less authentic when I hear “motivational speakers” just babble on about what sounds good to an audience. Sometimes it’s the trivial hardships that feel so heavy and it’s okay because it’s soooo relatable! Just be you and enjoy it! Don’t worry about anything else! You are amazing! Mama to mama hug threw the interwebs ❤️

I have been seeing a therapist or counselor since I was 6 years old. 30 years later and I still talk to a therapist or counselor regularly. I believe that therapy is beneficial to everyone whether they have specific “issues” or if they just need someone to talk with who is completely unbiased. My mother recognized that I was a people pleaser and a bit of a perfectionist when I was young. She also realized that because of this I hesitated to speak openly with her or any family members and I was showing signs of anxiety and slight depression even though I was just 6. My mother didn’t think twice and found me a therapist that was appropriate for my age. We also had family therapy sessions which were great not only for me but for my entire family. I started so early that it just became a normal thing in my life and I always talked about seeing a therapist openly and honestly to everyone in my life. I love going to therapy sessions and I wish I had more time in my schedule. Currently I just have sessions when my schedule and my therapist’s schedule work out but she would make space if I need an emergency session. My sessions are very laid back and tend to involve more small talk and catching up then deep and heavy issues. My therapist is great at helping me understand and express my thoughts and feelings in an appropriate manner as I tend to bottle things up which just makes everything worse. The biggest benefit to seeing a therapist or counselor is that there is always someone around to talk too freely and honestly with no judgement. Talking to friends and/or family is great but I myself know there are times it is not possible to talk with them freely because you may be afraid of hurting their feelings or causing an argument. I can then go to my therapist and tell her the situation and my thoughts and feelings with out having to worry about judgment and she can give me suggestions as to the best way to resolve any conflicts and prevent them in the future. I honestly think that everyone should be seeing a therapist or counselor (even if it is just occasionally) the way the world is currently. People are experiencing more stress then ever and are working longer hours while running a household and everyone that comes with that. Good therapists do not judge you, embarrass you, or make fun of you. They instead lift you up, boost your confidence, give you advice, and many other things. Seeing a therapist does not make a person weak. I saw friends struggling through middle school and while I also had my fair share of struggles therapy made them easier to handle and helped me let them go versus holding on to them and potentially making myself sick. I would suggest that you do go and see someone because there is no way talking to a therapist is going to make anything worse. When you do find a therapist you like and are comfortable with (this is also really important and I see a few therapists before choosing a new one)don’t try and hide it from the kids. My mother never hid therapy from us which is why I was so comfortable seeing a therapist at 6 years old. I would also recommend family therapy sessions. They are a lot of fun for the kids and really help tie the family together.

Carly you are a good mom. It just over whelming when you have so many things. I enjoyed Elliot, lenny playing he was making her laugh. Life is so hard but just take one day at a time. My son told me to do yoga meditation it helps and try a pool were you have candles and it's like pulls gravity you sit alone it's so relaxing. You differently need a spa massage well deserved. Cooper reminds me of my son at that age. Hope you breathe through it all. It will get better. Take a day pamper yourself. Lol always love your vlog.

@@CarlieStylez - Carlie, I've been a subscriber of yours for many years. My most favourite vlogs have been you and Cooper going to baseball or your simple days w/ the lil ones. Not the brand deals, the loud and crazy trying to create "good" content, etc. Just you! Because believe me or not, you are enough. Those every day struggles is what makes you relatable and therefore enjoyable to watch. While it may just be a camera you're holding up and talking in to, I hear you! Weird, Eh! Ha! Anyways, don't doubt yourself. I'm a single mom who has every day struggles so it's not the "my life is perfect" that I'm coming on to KZbin to watch. Finally had a Dr who said you don't have to be dark place its just a chemical imbalance your not generating enough of that chemical and this will help boost it up. Was on it for a solid 3 years before I came back off. Talking to a psychiatrist helped me with anxiety. The one thing I really took away from it was to figure out what really is making you feel trapped and make a plan to move forward. I have only realized recently about tension headaches. Would tell Drs my head feels like someone was pushing their fingers into my head in my temple then it move to be my ear. Going on medication for that actually worked well was alot clearer head and don't feel absolutely shattered at the end of the day. The main cause for tension headaches is stress but they don't know the true cause of them. Its also not a pain killer it falls under anti depressants (really need a better name) but you take it a night cause it makes you drowsy. Getting help is hard at first but so many people have it they just don't talk about it. I've seen how it gets worse if you let multiple things start worrying you which can cause panic attacks where you get the shakes and tense up in some cases. The other is manic depression (Bi polar) start acting really talkative wont stop when your a quiet held back person normally. Anyways never feel your alone in this there is always someone out there who will listen

You know motherhood is overwhelming and you sharing your struggles makes moms feel validated and maybe when a vlog is just “I’m happy” it feels like bragging rather than just real aabd maybe saying cool things to do with kids 2-13 or with two age ranges or how to makeup routine for moms kids proof you know? Cause that is relatable and when bad things happen we just wanna be there for you. Tell me if your mom said something happened you wouldn’t call her immediately without even thinking you know?

Carlie i am so sad to hear you say that you feel that you’re not certain of what you can contribute to KZbin! Your approach to fitness and especially running was integral in inspiring me to really get into running - since then I have run 4 marathons and now run ultras! And I’m pretty sure I can attribute a lot of that motivation to you. Sometimes when I am especially in need of inspiration I will watch your nyc marathon video just for kicks! Sending love and I hope you realise how much you connect with your viewers and how much you truly do have to offer!! ❤️

I have really bad anxiety, I have seen a therapist since I was a young kid (now 22). I honestly think it helps sooo much for me. I think it would be really helpful for you, just to talk to somebody 😊 totally coming from a place of love 💕

Awe Carlie..... I’m sorry your feeling overwhelmed a bit. Just know that as women , I think, that we all go through this here & there. Perhaps men do too , to a certain extent, but I don’t think it’s on the same level. But yes, just when you think you’ve established a good healthy routine and it’s all running smoothly, all he** breaks loose & you feel like it’s all going wrong so you question yourself. So I do not feel like anything is “wrong” with you at all, I think if you don’t experience that then something is wrong.... lol. You are way too hard on yourself. Being a mother is hard, much less of mother of 3, of which 2 need your full time attention. I just wanted to tell you, that you are doing wonderful, your an awesome mother, awesome wife, and a hella business woman, just give yourself a little credit!!!! Love you!!!

I just paused halfway through this and these are my thoughts. Maybe having your home clean, in your mind is something you know you have control over. Mental things like this obviously stem from something deeper BUT, maybe its your way with coping with something you're not even realizing is going on. In your world, maybe when things are going crazy, cleaning for you is something you know you can have full control of. Not saying you're a controlling person at all. Does that make sense? lol.

best vlog so far. You look so much younger without makeup. I think the desire of having everithing under control is definitely an anxiety issue. You should look for help. Best of luck

You do have a new job focus, don't under state where you are in life.. The most important job in this universe, You control your anxiety but its up to you... Mind your thoughts and feelings... You start thinking down the wrong path try changing that state of mind, you can do it.. Keep your chin up and use that smile like you use to do... or find something else to reverse that bad path.. Be a great mom and never feel less then that,, Don't worry about the little things...Easier said then done, but you have to work on it...YOU CAN DO IT
