Damn Dave so sorry to hear about a fire, not sure if you remember me from about 14 years ago back when you just had like 1000 subs hahah just got my account back, glad to see you're still around at least, there's always something to be thankful for!

It'l go away eventually, but can take some time. I had a traumatic experience in my early 20's, very close to death, and I had nightmares for quite some time after. Woke up just about every damn night absolutely soaking in sweat. It went away eventually, but took months... I'll imagine its even worse when others of your family is involved whether it be dogs, cats or humans, and all those feelings starts to eat on your mind (could, would, should I have done x,y,z..).

Yes. I've had it too, maybe still do. Nightmares, waking up from them and not being able to sleep.
