RECOVERY COMES FROM YOU. This video had a lot of gems but this one was the one for me. I always believed that my "broken mind" needed to be fixed by someone else, but through commitment, acceptance, and flexibility I continue to improve little by little. I KNOW we all can. Nick KNOWS we all can. It's time for YOU to KNOW too! Best of luck!

Can you guys make a video of how to actually get down onto core beliefs or limiting beliefs on your own? Or how do you figure out which are core beliefs? Thank you!! Great video and great reminder

Ahhh your dog is gorgeous 🥰 Thanks Nick you have reminded me once again about core fears ...worst case scenario's and living with them. Not easy but I keep getting back on the horse 🐴 I wouldn't die if it were true...

I have a type of somatic ocd. It’s difficult because its not so much thoughts that trigger my anxiety and OCD behavior, but a physical feeling, one that is basic to every human. I’m not sure I’m doing it right, but I’ve been trying to do exposures of the physical action and just sitting with the anxiety, feeling it, and slowly trying to let my mind understand that it is not something I should be anxious about. Currently waiting for the books from the reading list to arrive but I’m not sure if that’s the best way to do exposures?

Hello just a quick question so I spend 30 mins a day listening to Stubbornly Refuse to make yourself miserable of anything for 30 mins and watch your videos an hour a day. I still lead my normal life tho. Is it considered a compulsion?

Hey buddy! If I could just got off the tin here, it may seem like a little much. Than again you have to ask yourself and be honest, are you watching them for some sort of relief or "I need to get all the information I can get right now". Not an easy question to answer! Hope this helps!

@@axonhealth Hey Nick, thank you for your reply. I have come to the terms that recovery will take a while, it’s not that I want it to be perfect in a way, but I watch to learn because I am somewhat interested as the OCD recovery journey has given me some interesting insights about the human brain. But there could be small parts of me where I want to learn to get on the right path 😅. How long would you recommend I work on my OCD recovery every day tho cuz I really feel lost about the duration. Again thank you so much you have no idea how much this is helping me.
