I’ve read all of Patrick Rothfuss, to date. I’ve read THEFT OF SWORDS and really enjoyed it, but never continued with the series for some reason. I haven’t read anything by Brandy Sandy, but I’m sure that will happen sooner than later 😊

Love the title 😂 I rarely read white man fantasy but I have a few I’ve read and want to read. Michael J Sullivan and Brandon Sanderson are a few of them. I still have to read the third book of Mistborn. I like the series but I don’t love it.

I loved name of the wind, but I held back on reading the second book because I recognized some problematic things about the first book and heard some even wilder things about the second book, but also, Patrick Rothfuss seems to fall into the category of authors who just won't finish their series. I read TNOTW almost 10 years ago and the third book still isn't complete. Ugh. Why bother? Also, the book doesn't really get good until the Student Loans plot kicks in at around halfway through. So imo you avoided wasting a lot of time.

I also rarely read from white men but when I do they’re usually queer. I had a feeling name of the wind would be a dnf mainly because what I’ve heard about Rothfuss creeps me out😅
