We couldn't get the flow going. Spurs play a passing game. It's a small pitch and Palace players spent half the time on the deck, stop, start. Awful game to watch and probably ten times worse to play in. Write it off and go again.

Certainly was one of the more stop-start matches I've watched this year. Palace can be excruciating at times, but they are a better team than where they currently are on the table and you can respect their doggedness. Also a fairly tall and strong team; Palace are difficult to go over, so if you are not managing to go around or through them with any fluency, it breaks down a lot.

We got caught out again playing out from the back , when it was a high risk strategy. They pressed high constantly knowing that we don't deviate from that strategy. It was an awful game to watch.

Let’s face it. If a manager can’t get Celtic to win the SPL then he is totally useless. Ange has no pedigree triumphs under is belt and I have seen no evidence of his ability to be a top class manager. The problem comes from the top of your club, they could not care less about winning trophy's, as long as they are making profit. Spurs are a joke operation, one of the biggest clubs in England who have performed like a minnow. The players know they do not have to win anything, it is not expected, failure is no big deal. Compare that to when Abramovich was at Chelsea, those players and coaches knew they had to win trophy's or he would get rid of the lot of them, same at City now under Pep, it was the same at Utd under Ferguson, in fact Utd are the exact same as Spurs, the owners do not really care if they win trophy's as long as the money keeps rolling in, it was only because Ferguson was so driven he kept them winning. Even look at what Leicester have won compared to Spurs in the last 30 years or so. It is unbelievable how low expectations have become and accepted at that club. It is a lot to do with spending money, or not spending enough, but the biggest problem Spurs have is mentality and it runs through the club from the top to the bottom, the only way it will change is if there are new owners, seriously doubt sacking this manager will change anything. Spurs should put everything into trying to win the Europa and forget about chasing fourth spot in the league, win the Europa and it gets you CL, they are more than good enough to win it.

If that performance was against a top 3 side away - ok, but against a bottom 3 side; it's totally unacceptable. The squad has plenty of talent but they lack the fire in the belly, the hunger and fighting spirit. The Spurs player that had it was Hojberg even though he wasn't the most gifted. If the players don't have it naturally then it's up to the manager to instil it. Players that don't give a 110% no matter who or where they play should be benched. They're paid enough.

Watching the match the Palace players were all over the Spurs players. The Palace playrs played as if their lives depended on it. Commited fouls when they could. By the 70 min one or two of the Palace players were going down with cramp. They ran themselves into the ground. Was a team that wasnt going to lose no matter what Spurs did. There's a much higher chance of conceding a goal from a misplaced pass or individual error... just like this... if you're always playing out from the back. So many goals are being conceded by teams who aren't good enough to always playing out from the back and conceding goals in almost identical circumstances. Spurs aren't a bad team, but they're no Man City/Barcelona/Real Madrid. Always playing out from the back when you're not one of those teams filled with world class players will almost certainly equal giving the opposition a chance or two every game to intercept or profit from an individual error.

This breaking up the flow of the game by players throwing themselves to the ground is becoming too common. I didn't see the Spurs v Crystal Palace game but Arsenal players did the exact same tactic against Liverpool. You could see them starting to fall before the (slightest) of contact was made. It's a thing referees need to get a grip of or teams need to look for a means of coping with. So frustrating to free flowing football playing teams such as Spurs, Liverpool, City etc
