A lot of the former players now pundits forget that progress is not linear. We are getting better, just need to be more consistent. Many people keep parroting the same line of “no plan B”. Different teams present different challenges. Teams lower in the table generally park the bus and are hard to break down. They then hit on the counter atrack and that's an area that Tottenham have been exposed. Ange will get that sorted if given time

What a big win after dissapoint last week with Ipswitch totenham play very high Quality football against champions

Ange played Bissouma ,Sarr and Maddion. These three have a good understanding with each other. Bissouma is quicker to get into space and press also gets him in position to cover, Benta is slow and lacks the mobility witch slows Spurs down. Both FB for Spurs stayed deep most of the time only going forward when it was safe to do so. Ange Tactics is good its the players that let it down. Today could see Maddison talking to players Davies was too. That's what's needed. Kulu playing out wide really worked he has a better end product that Johnson. Next game against Fulham is a big one for Spurs. They have to win that game to get the ball rolling.

Bentancur is miles clear of bissouma. Bissouma needs to play in a double pivot in order to function.

@@magik410 It works though. Him and Sarr give more energy in the middle. Benta is slow and getting into space also more willing to wait to tackle instead of being on the front foot. Benta is good at what he does though in Ange system he is slow and isn't on the front foot.

Bentancur isn't as dynamic, sure, but he is one of the best readers of the game around and is incredibly good at breaking up play when opposition are looking to get away quickly. Also got better eye for a pass and concentration than Bissouma. Biss is better under a press and more athletic, but struggles to concentrate for a full game.

@pauljohnware I have watched Benta ad notice he gets tried quick. He isn't on the front foot he waits. Yes passing is better but when do you see him do a defence splitting pass form deep? When does he fire a pass to feet ? He plays simply passes often side ways or backwards. He also has lost the ball same as Bissouma, Benta is a fan favourite but looking at him without that mindset can see why Bissouma fits that role better. Ange system is about being dynamic
