For an extremely affordable eye and face pallette you just cannot beat Profusion Pink Nude or Golden Nude pallets, in my opinion. Beautiful natural colors and great quality for under $6 each. They are my summer travel staples. I like the look that you created today Kimberly!

I had to smile when I heard you mention Eureka Springs Arkansas. My family had a lake house when I was a teenager in the 80's on Holiday Island which is seven miles north of Eureka Springs. We did all our shopping and eating out in that little town. My parents sold the house in the mid nineties. I had reason to go through the area after a trip to Branson Missouri with my kids about 10 years ago and I was amazed at how much things had grown and developed in the area since we had left. Love the color of the sweater. I am going to check out their website.

For years I have used the it cosmetics face palette for a travel full face palette- Your Most Beautiful You palette. It only had 3 pans- bronzer, blush and highlight- BUT- I’ve mixed the blush and highlight for carrying eye looks and used the bronzer in the crease, it’s buildable to use as an outer corner deeper shade. The highlight is soooo gorgeous on the eyes by itself, and as a face highlight- *chef’s kiss* perfection! I’m not adventurous with eye looks. I’m very much a classic, sophisticated, understated but not barely there looks kind of girl. 🥰 I had a charlotte tilbury face palette years ago and just couldn’t get passed the tiny pans.😩

I recently discovered Seint makeup - it is the same concept of having your foundation, highlight/concealer, contour, blush in the same compact. The difference is that it is cream-based which feels better on my dry mature skin. It reminds me of the L'Oreal 4-in-1 balm, which I love. You can put together your own personal palette of colors and bigger palettes also can hold bronzer and illuminator and eye shadows. The eye shadows are not cream - but have a creamy high pigmented smooth texture. At 72, I need easy like an all in one palette that I can pop in my purse, etc. I don't care for Seint skincare but am loving the makeup. It's sold privately and that may turn some people off. And there is a learning curve getting it all placed well. But the glow is so youthful. Would love to see you review it!

I started using Seint recently and I was not sure at first because it felt a bit sticky, this being said I am almost 66 years old and the product is very friendly on older skin. You also only buy what you want in the colour you want. Worth the try.

@@cherylflanders1929 I definitely agree. I’m loving Seint and the one palette concept. The learning curve was easy for me once I realized less is more, which makes it less expensive. I’ve learned so much from Michelle Spieler’s channel, Mature make up masterclass. She has videos to walk you thru great application for mature women. I ordered it from her after watching so many of her videos. Great tips for applying to my 66 year old skin. If you haven’t seen her videos, check them out, it will help your application of Seint.

I personally LOVE that subtle look. I don't care for dark eyeshadow, I already have deep set eyes and little lid space, and I feel dark shadows make me look cadaverous and therefore I really don't wear eyeshadow. That palette, however, has me thinking I might give it a shot, especially for the price!

Oh wow this video was shot awhile ago since we already went on the trip with you & know you are moving to S. Carolina. For me only I would have liked to join Beauty Pie but with their yearly Fee & no free shipping other than your first order no matter how much you spend it was a no for me. I know you don't have to join but if you don't their prices are high. You are right you can really see the powder fly off the brush when you tapped it when you used the eyeshadow. You still look great no matter what you put on.

I think the best way to use the Beauty Pie all in one face palette is to use their cream shadow sticks first. That way the shadow has something to grip onto. I don’t remember if you used an eyeshadow primer or not as that would help too.

Eureka Springs my happy place. I love Christopher's & will be visiting soon along with my daughter & SIL. We will be staying at the Crescent Hotel. I've stayed there several times & have some stories. If no one knows the Crescent is known as the Haunted Hotel & they have Ghost tours. I've never been on a Ghost tour, but my late husband and I had a experience. Also my late mother when we took her there on a small vacation as we also went to Branson which is not far from Eureka Springs. YES! I have to agree with you Miss. Kimberly! It was way to Dusty! I could even see the kick up! And it did Not show up! Like the C.T. kit did. I always say.. Ya get what ya pay for. Sure C.T. is expensive, But, I think it's worth every penny! Her eye shadows and blushes and Lipsticks are BEAUTIFUL! And go on really Great! However, You still looked Beautiful as always. 💖

Hi Kimberly, Great video! My mom always said "you get what you paid for". She was right:-)! Although "Beauty Pie" was considerably less money, it cannot compare with Charlotte Tilbury. I must say you look gorgeous! I resisted purchasing the BP product. I dislike powdery eyeshadow immensely! Fallout makes me crazy and causes a mess. I have the same CT palette as you. Don’t shoot me for this but I also love the Dior holiday eye and face palette from last year in that clutch handbag. It was my present to myself. It’s neutral which I like. I am so glad you did this comparison. My daughter’s bday is next month and I’m thinking of getting her this beauty pie one in the cool. I’ve already heard that the shadows but I’m thinking if she taps the brush first that should take care if it. She’s got a light skin tone not fair but light. Let me know what you think about my shadow idea.

Hi... I have watched your videos for a while and thank you for teaching me skin care. I have my own DIY routine, DIY french clay cleaners, DIY niacinamide serum, The Ordinary vit c powder mixed in aloe vera gel, retin a, and I will add copper peptides DIY later. What I wanted to share with you is that you have mentioned you cant use Retin on your neck. I had the same issue. I asked my doctor for 2 prescriptions, one .05 and one .025. The lower dose is tolerated on my neck. Might not work for you either but it is worth a try. Since I get generic retin a with GoodRx card, there was no "insurance police" to object to 2 subscription. Anyway.. just wanted to share. Thanks for your informative videos. I have learned a lot from you.. I epecially like the water spray between layers and waiting a min or 2 between layers.

Kimberly I have to say that I have all of the Beauty Pie face/eye shadow palettes ( including this one) and I find them to be great. I’ve never had an issue with them being powdery or with fall out. Maybe give it a second chance without knocking g so much off your brush. You may find you get the color payoff your looking for

You look so beautiful after using that palette (the One from Beauty Pie,,) The colors look Sophisticated and that cheek color was sublime on you. I think it's not really fair to compare a $9.13:palette to the $75 one. Of course the Beauty Pie palette is not going to perform the same. That being said, I really feel that the Beauty Pie palette didn't get a fair review. I'm betting that if you didn't have been the $75 palette you would like the Beauty Pie palette a little better. Please don't take this the wrong way, I'm just trying to analyze the situation as an outsider. I love your channel and must say that you inspire me to step out of my comfort zone because you moved down south without a. whole lot of trepidation (I thought 🤔 and of course could be way off base.). From what I see on the website you have to start a 60 day free trial to get it for 9.50. If you check out as a guest it's 45.00. That fact should have been addressed, I think. Not everyone wants to have a membership.
