They’re different animals. I haven’t bought Boost yet (though I do own the Weiss) and on a technical level Boost is doing some things no either limiter type product is doing. It’s possible to replicate its effects with multiple plugins, but it’d be fiddly. It’s a genuinely “novel” processor the way it’s all been put together. Don’t know if I “need” it but I’m still hearing great things about it
