This is pretty awesome for sound design, thanks for posting, testing this as we speak. Reminds me a bit of how S-layer works without the need for Reactor.

yeah! So happy that Variator makes it free in reaper

7:50 is amazing. I don't know how you kept a straight face through that

Woah , this is so good for game audio for having a few random options available for review or to implement multiple similar sounding options for a sound using wwise or fmod.

This is how I imagine most IDM producers make their percussions. Dope stuff!

This is one of the most promising new script :P One of the only thing it lacks for me is several randomization algorithm, like having a min/mac value and controls over distribution. Hopefully in Pro !
@TheREAPERBlog4 жыл бұрын
that's something I suggested too.

@@TheREAPERBlog Yep ! I was part of the early beta tester program as well, so I already shared these feature requests to nikolalkc. :P Like the possibility of rounding the output values of the randomization to a certain steps size too.

So awesome! It would be great to have a reverse option too

Hey Jon, thanks for your videos, I keep finding new stuff that I add to my workflow thanks to you. One thing that I really dislike about Reaper thou, is the effects window. There's just no visual helpers when it comes to making custom racks or groups. Maybe you have been able to find something that is able to fix it?
@TheREAPERBlog4 жыл бұрын
can you give me an example of where that is done well?
@KamyCrazyWB4 жыл бұрын
@@TheREAPERBlog Ableton lets you group effects into racks and then minimize that rack, rename it, put a rack within a rack. I'm not looking for Ableton's rack system, but just a basic system like folders(like with tracks) would be great. I noticed that in reaper forum this is one of the most common requested feature.

in Reaper, on the top menu, goto View > Peaks display settings and choose "spectral peaks" in the "display mode" drop down. that will render your peaks based on the frequency of the signal.

Wonderfull. So u have two windows connect on a network? I wish i could do that in my studio but i dont know how. O thought windows 10 didnt have the netwotk option. Can you shed some light on the subject and help me out?
@TheREAPERBlog4 жыл бұрын
On windows I think you just enable the folder for sharing in the properties. on the other computer you connect through the local IP address. I have it set up both ways for mac and windows.
