First, there is a difference between accuracy and precision. I have found both the test strips and the liquid tests to both be accurate; however, the liquid tests are more precise. When I started out over 50 years ago, all I checked was pH using pH paper. Our tap water is always full of minerals and has a high pH. It's been like that all my life. After the water travels hundreds of miles to get here, it picks up all kinds of impurities. Then, I partialed my tanks every Saturday, usually 20%. This helped keep the water quality up. Now I test them all sorts of ways, and still partial the tanks, but not as much and as often. Looking forward for more of your videos. Take care.

Great comment! If you require a lot if precision, eg if you are doing hi-tech aquascaping, breeding, sensitive species, you really can't go without some test kits. Then liquid is better, the Hanna test kits would be even better, though out of the budget of most.
