It's been decades since I've seen wild-type swordtails, too. They need a bigger tank than the platy-hybrid ones do. Cool shop. I hope they do well. Nice video. Take care.

L397 pleco, grows to about 4/5 inches. Green neon tetras are my favourite. Brilliant store by the way 👏 😊.

How do you cope with the electric blackouts in south Africa in regards to aquariums.

We have not had them in a while. Can't talk for a big shop like this but most of us use acdc airpumps with back-up batteries driving sponge filters or inverter trolleys with lithium batteries (drives my filtration and lights when power is off). That way at least you always have some circulation and filtration going. The lucky ones have their homes on solar with backup batteries.

saturn shrimp is small but packs a punch (just phone first and make a booking) as well as art of aqua!

Coming from the Cape, I am not always sure where Joburg ends and PTA starts, but my favourites are Aqua Empire, Art of Aqua, Fish for Africa, Fanie's Fish Room and especially of you are into the marine hobby, Benoni Aquarium and Pets. So many more shops than here in the Cape Town Area.

@@solitude9348 thank you. I will phone Saturn Shrimp on Monday and we will be sure to go to Art of Aqua. Yesterday we went to Animal Kingdom Pretoria and I was blown away. They have the most coloured up fish and well set up tanks I have ever seen.

Some school tighter than others but they all seem to like each others company.
