It's a tough decision for any parent. Help convince them by looking at decent safety gear and stick to sensible ride vids like Naths. No doughnut, stoppie or wheelie vids!!! At least not in front of the folks. Note to Nath...my boy getting 40+ mph now, changed the can and removed "diodes". Great vids though, keep up the good work, stay safe bud!

Im turning 16 in a few months and cannot decide whether to get a used Aprilia rs4 50 or a new yamasaki

Ooo, hard choice. I personally would go for the Aprilla just because I prefer the feel of them but it's all down to personal choice. The yamasaki is an amazing bike too though

The only reason i was considering the yamasaki is because it is a four stroke I personally do not like the sound of two strokes

I agree with you, 4 strokes also require less maintenance. 2 strokes are known to be owned by people with mechanical experience

the look of this chinese bike is great the only question is..what is the reliablity in long term otherwise is a good bike i suppose. the advantage of four stroke engine is you don't have to change segment and piston for about 20 000 kilometers. have a nice day pal !

@@lukecox3911 about 3 months now, nearly 4, I wouldn't recommend getting a lexmoto, I've seen my friends one and videos of people with them breaking down chains falling off and everything I'm just lucky that it's not as bad as it could be.

Love the videos Nathan. They are great. Keep them coming. I was watching you ride and I don’t know if it’s the camera angle restriction on what we see but please please be sure to pay attention to everything that is going on around you. Junctions etc. seemed that you pulled out without looking left properly. Car drivers seem to have very little regard for us or just don’t see us. Wear your boots if you like having skin in your ankles.

Hi Nathan, when you cleaned your bike what did you use? I jet washed mine today and now won’t start, kick or electric, I assume I’ve either got water in the carb or water in some electrical connectors. Sandy help would help.

Hi mate, I use muck off which I buy from halfords. I've also previously used a pressure washer before. You'll be okay if you get it wet haha!

Aprilia, personally I ride a derbi senda 50 which can get up to 50 mph, but the aprilia has been reported to get 60

There isn't a CDI on this bike, its ECU and electronic restriction unfortunately

NathNathNath is there not a way you can alter its settings? On most of the YM50 models there will be a cable and the ‘box’ underneath the bike near to the front of the engine
