Probably best talking over the test ride to cover up the engine missing, coughing and spluttering, I haven’t come across one of these yet that’s been running well or not rusty and scaby at 12 or 18 months old, this model dose look quite nice and sporty on a positive. Just my opinion, good review and video footage also. 👍

The missing sound is the restrictor we have seen time and time again if you service and keep it in a garage they last if not they dont same as mot small bikes now

It is the valve clearances ushally if you do them they are fine

@@Ridingreviews Not yet at least, I check the registration info about the brand, and there's 3 Yamasaki bikes in Norway, and at some point they were imported. So I need to get my hands on one, I'm not some 16 year old, just love the concept of what the YM50-RE is. Do they have the standard "blob" lowbeam light pattern with no dip on the end? (if so that makes it extremely easy to just get one sent here from any country).

Moped has been a synonim of 2 stroke for me, sad that the last 2 stroke 50cc will be sold new in the near future Glad that these sporty looking 4 stroke bikes are popping out and derestricted they don't seem so bad compared to their 2 stroke counterparts

I wouldn’t bother buying these bikes bought one for my son and can’t find a mechanic anywhere at all who is willing to work on one or mot one think it’ll have to be sold immediately as what’s the point if you can’t get a single sole to mot it never heard of brand racism lol do your research and buy a well known brand or regret it

Hey nice videos ! i have a question i just got a Ym50-10 from 2021 and the Tacho shows 10-15km higher than it actually is , is there away to fix this issue? i live in germany so the bike cannot be faster than 45/km and im afraid that the police will be anoying as the bike seems as a bigger one.

You could try a new set of clocks ushally the show you are going faster i would sagest using a gps speed app on your phone

i would check the valve clearances and make sure you are using the gears correctly if you are at 8 mph you should be in first

Im looking into buying a second hand one from Germany, because they arent sold here in the Netherlands. I really like the sporty looks. It makes it look like some 2 stroke 'racer' 50cc bikes but then 4 stoke. How is it like only having 4 gears instead of 5 or 6 like what you would have in a 2 stroke 50cc bike? I imagine it being a bit bumpy from 1 to 2 with that much of a difference in rpm.

The 4 stroke 50cc wont pull a 5 gear you dont need to most 2 strokes will do 60 this will only do 45 once derestricted 1 and 2nd gear dont seep cluncky you can put a 125cc directly in this bike so upgrade posabilities are good
