Do I Regret Building an Overland Toyota Tacoma?

Do I regret building my overland Toyota Tacoma, this question I found myself asking myself a few times the past month. My overland Tacoma is the only vehicle I have and that can make things difficult to say the least.

The truck looks cool, and it seems that most Americans are more concerned with form over function? I considered selling my 4 x 4 Chevy suburban to purchase a Toyota Tacoma or 4Runner, but for anyone over 6 foot tall, there's simply no room in those things, and if you want to carry a canoe, a fat bike, and all your camping gear, it simply doesn't make sense. I can carry everything plus a passenger and a dog, and sleep two people and a dog very comfortably in my 2000 Chevy suburban 4 x 4. When you consider the price of admission was only $4000, and the Chevy was listed at TFL on KZbin as the third most reliable vehicle in US history, the decision to stick with my Suburban was a no brainer...

I was in the same position. So I purchased a 07 Ford Ranger. Paid 7k you cant tell in from new. It does all the heavy lifting now.
