Great choice, I switched to a 20 year old RAV4. Best decision ever. Once you see repair parts prices for older cars you'll never go back to anything made after 2015

Hell yeah brother, I had my dream Job I bought my tacoma same time as you, I bought a house and proposed to my fiancé… life was good then lost my Job due to my Employer almost going into bankruptcy. They cut 100 out of 300 staff members including my whole team and I. Now I’m thinking about doing the same. Life is unpredictable and this video has been motivational and it’s a hard thing to do but you gotta do what you gotta do brother!

It's literally a high-end 4th gen 4runner, same exact drive train, except you get the more reliable manual transfer case. Same 4.7 that some 4th gen 4runners have. I have a 4th gen 4runner and would also love a gx470. You get more head room in the 470 but it lacks the roll down rear window.

The Rat Race refers to finances. Keeping up with the Jones'. That sort of thing. He got out of a payment that was possibly drowning him for something 20 years old. Maybe even came out of it with a little extra on top for some mods or maintenence.
