I particularly love these extreme changes that you create, the loss of the dreads for these guys is coming at some important transition in their lives, career/life changes, and you have to be some kind of psychologist to manage that successfully for them. Cedrick's hair particularly was very well maintained, beautiful, so it must have been quite a decision to lose it. That said, the new cut was great, loved that the decision was to leave some volume at the top, made it a bit less formal and natural, and you framed his face perfectly. Great job!

The comments are just nice cut from all races. I'm not racists by no means. But just crazy to me that when a black man like in this video gets the same cut. It's handsome black man and that's what excellent looks like. And tbh dude looks good. No homo. But just a question I'm worried about. I mean we all are people and people are all equal. I like that you truly try to decipher a client`s comments when you ask them what they would like for you to accomplish in bringing the idea in their mind into the real world. Beautiful awesome dreds. I just cut cut 12 inches off my hair. It was to my waist. Now it’s hitting my shoulders. I couldn’t go shorter. This young man has more courage than I do!

Damn... it's almost a crying shame to cut those off. THE most gorgeous hair I've seen. I wonder how long it will take him to adjust to it being gone. You know that feeling the next morning......

Agree... this was hard to watch. Never thot he would cut it ALL off. 🙂 But it's his choice... and society makes us believe he looks "better" with the cropped look. Smh...

Great cut. As a bearded guy for the last 30+ years - it is such a crazy moment seeing yourself like that for the first time after having a completely different look for years and years and years.

Something about that 12 year mark makes u want to change... I’ve had my locs just as long but instead of chopping I combine them to make fewer (from 105 now to only 15). Having many locs while your hair is long has its challenges that people don’t often mention, snagging, breaking and making sure it’s protected properly while sleeping. Also, I’ve hair whipped many people by simply turning my head (lol). But I salute this man, sometimes u gotta know when the journey is over

I've had my dreads since age 5. I'm 43 now. They're healthy. Down to the back of my legs. I donate 20 inches every year. Otherwise, they grow floor length. I keep them wrapped around my waist . I don't know what I'd do if I HAD to cut them. Mind blowing to even think about!! Maybe he kept them. If he sold them, he made a healthy sale.
