Great that your wear n tear is pretty decent. I guess it depends on the season n material. I had mine for almost a year in metallic gold and the wear n tear is a lot worse than yours-corners already rubbed off brand new from store. My sis got one in metallic silver and after 3 wears it peeled off badly. Luckily she got full refund not just store credit. So the lesson is choose your material wisely, opt for the one that’s soft and supple and less plastic like!

I have the same opinion about the bag about the wear and tear, it is holding itself really great since a year. But for the storage, I generally just lay it down in my dressing. But I have a question, does the little chanel hardware piece hanging from the shoulder strap has some black spots from scratches ? It seems mine have a few tiny ones... 🫣

Am considering to get this next month! My SA in taka said they are coming with the grained calfskin in burgundy which is like the grainy kinda leather, i’m really torn should i get this or the seasonal flap bag. So hard to make my mind up. I tried a chanel22 in shiny grained calfskin which is so huggable and soft leather compared to the one i tried in shiny calfskin in black like yours. Need your advice!

I have to wonder if they corrected the problem after the first year. I have 3 of these bags. I wear them constantly they are fine. I’m so glad I didn’t listen to the horror stories. I’m sad I listened too much to the negativity around this bag. I finally got it and I’m totally in love! I don’t plan to add an insert or even the protector for the chain. I just want to use it without any worries! But I can already tell that this bag will be totally fine and way more hard wearing than people say!

Some girls get an aftermarket shoulder strap to protect your shoulder. I think the shoulder straps digging into my shoulder is the biggest issue for me otherwise I think this is a really good practical and very chic bag! Some ppl I talk to don't even think it's an issue so it may be just a shoulder thing and everyone is different (I have a weak shoulder hahaha). I appreciate the mini has a leather strap although it's just one. But it's small enough it won't get too heavy. But yeah its still a very expensive bag!! Thanks for the updated sharing and by the way did you change your camera lens? Or maybe the background just looks more creamy as you changed the background. It looks nice! Happy 2024!!
