Born and raised there. Home.to me. Mill Creek Park is a cool place to visit. Idora Park was really cool place to go . Great amusement Park when I was growing up. When you visit Youngstown, one place is a must. Handle's home made ice cream. Best in the world

I have lived in Youngstown for about 20 years. It isn't my first choice of a great place to live, but I guess at this point it is home. The parks are great. I had my wedding at the gazebo in Fellows Riverside Gardens. White House Fruit Farm is one of my favorite local businesses. They are known for their donuts. Handel's ice cream originated here which is also very good. We have the Canfield fair every year and that's about it.

You’re in Youngstown and don’t stop at an Italian place to eat? Poor choice of restaurant

You missed The cascades that has a natural pool at the bottom in mill creek park, but even some locals I've talked to didn't even know it existed. Imo it's way more impressive then Lanterman's Mills Falls. Monday is 100% a dead day there. The city looks big compared to It's population that's why it looks like a ghost town. It's built for 200k but has way below 100k.

Unfortunately one of the buildings downtown blew up and had to be destroyed and the downtown had to be deserted for a few months. It isn't always a lively place especially on a Monday but sometimes there are festivals and concerts in the downtown area that drive foot traffic.

Many years ago there were plenty more roads to drive thru the park that have been closed off from specific neighborhoods like the Idora & Warren areas. & bike ways made in place of roads🤔

Had to relocate to Youngstown for family. From Honolulu Hawaii. This place doesn't even compare. Stuck in Ohio...

Ok Gab Small - I've watched several of your travel vids of Oh - they're cute & a 'lil fun, but you're not doing these areas justice - do some homework for a better YT travel channel - here's some help: Yes Ytown isn't an amazing tourist mecca like Vegas, Orlando, NYC & LA, but it's cities like Ytown, Cle, Pit, Buff, that literally built all those flashy glam cities - this was a booming steel city that helped win wars & built the modern world - at its peak, this region (Pit, Ytown, Cle) was the 2nd largest steel maker in the world - 90% of that went overseas - Ytown's transitioning into more tech now w/ Intel chips, 3D printing, & batteries - the area is blue collar, football, & tough - half million call the metro home - Yes, it can be boring, but it's a solid place to raise a fam -

totally agree. Ohio rocks. People need to remember 25,000 ppl. lost their jobs in the steel mills in ONE day in 1980. Ytown is coming back and it's a great place to live.

@@JeffBrown-pb5qr Yup - I remember that day very well - at middle school half the kids showed up looking scared cuz their dads just lost their jobs. Amusing how these young millennials/gen z get their driver's license, go somewhere random wanting likes & YT checks w/o learning anything about the places they're seeing - hoping for a career in it - I learned nothing watching her vids -

totally not. just my opinion. I think she did a good job. She told the truth. She was here for what?, like barely a day. I've lived in Youngstown since I was born, 50 years. I think she did a nice assessment of the places she visited. she picked some nice places to visit! And she didn't totally bash like I've heard some people do.
