Just started at tmc and it seems like a great company. Been watching your videos for some time now. Decided to go with tmc for the ESOP program since I don’t know crap about investing. However, I do plan on learning how to invest after I get situated into the trucking lifestyle. Truly inspirational. Thank you!!

I hope everything goes well for you at TMC! A great book to start learning about investing is “The Simple Path To Wealth” by JL COLLINS. You read that 3 or 4 times and you’ll be set up for success financially. Thank you for watching I really appreciate it!

hey man i got a job offer from Crete, I'm seriously considering it, the only thing I'm curious about is does Crete let you choose where you take your home time. Melton (where i work now) lets you choose any truck stop in the country to park your truck and take your home time as long as you give 2 weeks notice which is great for visiting friends/families across the country.

Yes you can choose anywhere you want to go for hometime! But yes give a 2-3 week notice so they can plan your loads to get you there!

@@TheLivingFreedChannel that’s awesome man! Last question I have is how strict is Crete about idling their truck? I’m a super picky sleeper and if it’s not ice cold I struggle to sleep well.

Good morning, Tyler! You are so successful because of your mind set. You are goal oriented and manage your destiny accordingly! (So many do not) Crete takes care of Tyler, and you take care of Crete! At 30 years you have the wisdom of 60! Just think how darn smart you'll be at 60! Great to hear from you and roll safe out there!

I really appreciate you saying that Jon. Great to hear from you as well and have a great rest of the week!

In my opinion the pay doesn’t get better than the Walmart dedicated in Cheyenne. You don’t even have to live near Wyoming to be on it full time. I live in Texas, they get me home when I want to go(6 weeks out), clearing 3,000 miles a week at 70cpm base, others variables can get you to 84cpm on the weekends. I would like to know how does otr crete beat that?

I’ve been with them almost 2 years now, agreed when it comes to sticking around and being established. Their benefits are great as well👍🏼

Been with Crete 16 years - plan to retire from them in 3 years. Good point about the divisions. A few months ago I switched to a regional and I found it was not a good fit for how I like to drive (don’t like short runs). So I talked to them and no problem at all switching to something else they suggested after listening to my desires.

Thought about coming back to the Walmart account for awhile in Cheyenne? I love it here…easy 3,000 miles a week

You are absolutely right I used to drive for Crete carriers years ago. I was there for about 12 years and there was a very good company.
@WhiteLineFever199910 ай бұрын
no you are completely right. seems like this is a hot topic that keeps popping up recently for me. been driving for 3 years but worked for 4 carriers now. did not have a good start in trucking like i hoped. lets just say that. never fired from any of em. either i moved and the company didn't have a position where i was going or the current company i wasn't making the money i needed to make, or getting enough miles or loads from the company.

Its easy to say to someone they have to stick to a job fuck that, trucking companies lie all the time, they tell you youll make 1.5K a week and end up making 500 bucks, whos gonna stick to that? No truck driver would be hopping around if companies didnt lie so much abkut what they have to offer which you can only see after youll hired.

What's the pay range. It depends. Do your regional research. I live in the north east so pay depends on what your doing

Job-Hopping 🐇🐇🐇🐇 is a No-No in the trucking industry - The modern truck driver recruiter looks at Job-Hoppers as a "Risk," too many to list here. Many companies have strick hiring policies on individual drivers, who have switched companies way too many times. So, my simple advice is, anyone who finds themselves going from company to company should just get out of the trucking industry altogether and find another career. Stay Safe !
