You could actually put the lid on the coffee cup. This way, in the spectators hand, they won't look in. Plus adds another level of impossibility. Just a thought. Great trick!

Yeahhhh but that removes the thought of, “he had to of looked in it. it was open with his hands on top” and they really won’t look in when you tell them hand on top hand on bottom make sure nothing gets out. It’s more impossible but it’s also less psychology I think.

I would make the "Card" appear on the very tip top of the Eifel Tower! How super cool would that be? And maybe have spotlights just light it up with a camera up there to show on a big screen down below for the ground watchers to see! But what treat for the people up there! Mr Sankey even after watching so many of your videos and being an avid magician, I must say I am still baffled by most all of your magic. And it cannot be taken out but the cool part is... their signature or whatever they wanted to write on it would be on it so they can't explain how it got into the bark of the tree..into a point where the only way to get the card out is by cutting it down..... Have the spectator call home and have, say the babysitter, find the card has magically appeared in the fridge. I do a similar effect using a double face card with two different faces. I use the card box or my wallet which I make sure has been in plain view and out of my reach the whole time. I like the cup and change idea, but my concern is, how do you keep them from looking into the cup if you are going to have them hold it?

2 options. 1st : hidden to plain sight of the what ever channel/video they open. Someone wearing a jacket with their selected card or newsreporter making news about something and selected card being on background. 2. Inside clothing to a place that makes them wonder how it could even be possible and that would need some effort to take off. Would be awesome preloque on is there any way possible for me to have been able to put a the card in there. Simple place would be inside the sock more daring places would be endless.

Have it appear 20 miles away 2 or 3ft under the ground in a specified location. You make it disappear in a remote location. In an empty field and you drive the person to the location and you both dig it out. It's even signed by he or she.

Hi Jay. With real magic I would make the card appear on the Space Station. I'd partner with one of the astronaut KZbin channels. Then when it vanishes and they say, "Where's my card?" and I'd say, "Let's go live to the ISS!" And the astronaut would pull out the signed card... IN SPACE!

Where in the world I would like that card to appear? I mean I think that the most hilarious thing is if it appeared in spectators underwear kinda like bulging like... You know... You could throw the line like oh this trick is so amazing that it clearly got you excited pointing down at his bulge. xD Then slowly tell them to slowly take out whatever does not belong there. I think 2 sided tape on the face of the gimmick card may work & let you use either end... & I'd make the card appear in another spectator's sleeve, "And you..." Point at the sleeve used, "did you do the secret move?"... For that spectator it would be absolutely magical & everyone else watching would wonder if they really helped me which entertains me more while trying the trick

I have always enjoyed the card on chair and the spectator finds they are sitting on it. Yet, wouldn't it be freaky if the card is found in their wallet, in their pocket and they remover the wallet and open it to find their card. I actually use this Gimmick a lot. After I force the card I tell them I have a photo of their card. Then I show them there is no photo ,sometimes the trick "messed up" and then I show them it trapped between my phone case and my phone. Now the super power would be to really trap it inside a phone.
