Darned Indians are just too well educated. One thing surprises me. They seem to share none of our (Americans') inherent mistrust of government. With colonial British rule so close in the rearview mirror, You'd think they would all be leery. Many of my Indian friends in my youth were very skeptical of government. I'm surprised it seems to have changed.

It isn't even about trusting the government. We simply haven't politicised the idea of taking a vaccine.Which is a good thing. [An extremely small percentage of retards did do that considering the Internet is a thing and stupidity spreads faster than intelligence over it.But its not a huge thing and the population simply hasn't politicised Science lmao.And it would be damn stupid and politically illiterate to do so] Imo the people should be critical about the government,and there should obviously be a small factor of trust between government and people(in a democracy) as this combined with constructive criticisms about the government can indeed push the government to become more trustable and efficient.But the US from what I have seen has simply politicised Scientific research itself,which is completely different from being critical about the government and is by all means just unsensible ignorant stupidity.

Hard to do business with the Philippines. From what I can tell, the current main problem of the Philippines is fanaticism, personality worship, paired with lack of education. They worship personalities and actually fight for their favorite celebrities or politicians (extremely corrupt ones). They want TV personalities, not systemic change. They are gullible enough to defend their favorite politicians from accountability. A literal army of trolls for virtually free. So no matter how many times the covid efforts were bungled and billions of covid funds and loans lost to graft and corruption, government gets away with it. And these followers naively cheers for it even at their own expense.

Now my sibling who is medical practitioner is scheduled to get vaccinated this week Moreover there is possibility that they will vaccinate underprivileged citizens on subsidised rate or for free. Let's see. Hoping everyone will be fine around the world.

She was somewhat right TBH!! We are close to vaccinating 1 million people daily & with new vaccines & production getting stabilised more vaccines would be available to people. And Indian government has trained millions of health workers on how to give vaccine along with setting up infra for such purpose.

It's because people know that side effects are a real problem with any newly developed medicine or vaccine, but they understand exactly how important of a social responsibility it is to place your trust in our scientists and give it a try, especially if you are a healthy adult with no other complications
@vccv97853 жыл бұрын
It's about trust in the government and the authorities, which is non existent in the US. Ours is a pretty socialistic welfare state, people see the government doing stuff for the poor, providing for the underdeveloped, they have no reason here to not trust the government when it comes to this. The government briefs the people about covid efforts every other day. And we understand with any new vaccine ofcourse there will be some miscalculations and other stuff, that doesn't mean the scientists are lying to you.
@glennex00773 жыл бұрын
@@vccv9785 While that maybe true but uts also true that people have been reluctant on taking vaccines esp with certain state govts doing their own politics on such a crucial issue as vaccine.
