Absolute chills. I swear the universe knew I was ready for this message tonight. I relate to you so much; went through pretty much the exact same thing and even down to trying out film after being a digital native- I relate. But most of all, the 10 year desire and inner calling to make your channel but always putting it off… man I get that. This is my sign to take the jump. I’ve been so scared to start showing my face in front of the camera again and couldn’t find anything that felt it was enough motivation to do so, until you said “do it for yourself” and I thought of my younger self who started a KZbin at 11 years old that went viral. I gave it up because I changed and thought people wouldn’t want the new me. This is waking me up to realize, it was never for them anyways. I just got out of a 2 year relationship. Same thing I poured everything into the relationship and when it ended I felt empty. For the first few days I've been depressed a woman I loved so closely and so dearly went on to live the rest of her life without me and said it could never work. I understood and through the massive blow something refracted in my heart and exploded. I'm starting to understand that it's all up to me now and that if I want to do this I will FOR ME. I'm making music, rock climbing, reading, and sometimes falling backwards from the pain. But the relationship is over for good and no matter what I'm moving forward.

Some time ago I lost my relationship with the girl I thought I was going to spend the rest of my life with and that honestly made me a bit unbalanced but in a way I found myself now I enjoy the little things I feel much better, I started to read books to go outside in nature to go to church, I feel that I got very close to God and I feel at the best point in my life. Oh man this video and the message you put in it really hit that deep spot in my mind and heart. I'm really thankful you managed to upload this because I can see it's what many needed. I've been planning moving out of my home country for the past few years and and I think a few weeks ago I finally got the determination to do it this year. Shawn, I am 54 years old and I am finally at in that space. "do it for yourself". I always depended on me since I was a teenager and on my own, but I wasn't living my life.
