It took us a bit, but we finally made it to Glacier National Park! Though it is one of our most favorite National Parks, we were actually there so that we could see our friends who live right outside the park. We met Matt and Danielle and their family when they were on the road full time years ago, and it has been amazing to see them find their SOMEDAY in Montana now!
While visiting with our friends, we found out that Marc, Trish and Caleb with KYD were also in the area, so we met up with them to take a favorite hike in Glacier, the Avalanche Lake Trail, which they had never done before. We had a great time catching up, meeting their new friends and giving Marc a quick lesson with his GoPro!
The day ended with an incredible taco night created by the amazing Tricia Leach, and Marc taught us all a new campfire game called Mafia. PS. Leila is very good at this game, and Lily will make sure you are laughing the entire time!

I lived in Kalispell (my mom and sister still do) and Avalanche lake is one of my absolutely favorite places! Next time you visit I recommend heading down into Bigfork and visiting Eva Gates jams (the absolutely BEST huckleberry and chokecherry jam) and visiting the ice cream shop just up the street for some amazing ice cream!

Nope I absolutely hate mowing the lawn. That is the one thing I will not miss. We play video games to relax. Jeremy hit the jackpot when he married me not many women play video games and/or understand you can’t just get off a video game you have to find a safe place or you will lose everything and it may take 20 minutes and by that time most wives are so pissed because the husband didn’t get if right at that moment. I have had many daycare moms complain to me over the years that their husbands don’t get off when asked and I have had to counsel them on how video games work. They were not happy I was taking the husbands side lol

Much less incompetent drivers on the road after 4 😉 I love having the road to myself at night. We usually only do that during a cross country drives though. This summer we tried to only be on the road a few hours during the day on drive days.
