Really good video, thanks!!! For windows that tilt in, why did you decide on inside mount instead of outside mount shutters? We have the same windows so just wondering.

They like the look of these. And since the windows are on the first floor, it’s easy to clean them from outside.

I noticed you didn’t have casing around the windows. Most windows do. Is that an option that needs to be know when ordering?

In that case, you would need to decide if you want to remove the old trim and let the shutter frame become the trim. Otherwise get the company to help you decide how to do it.

Thank you for making me think I can do this on my own. I'm afraid to spend so much and mess it up, but I'm going to give it a shot. I have one big window in my living room. How would you recommended doing this? I don't have wall space for big door. Do they have any that open from the bottom up? I like the idea of having one open on the left and one open on the right, but I only have one window. Is that even possible? Lastly I just want to say thank you. I'm a new subscriber, and I think once I watched you build a platform bed using ikea stuff. I'm not sure if that was you.The cadence of your speech and the kindness in your voice sounds very familiar to me. Thank you for your channel so that this lady can make our house beautiful all by herself.

Yes, that platform bed was my claim to fame! It was so popular, it motivated me to launch HandyDadTV! As for the shutters, you can definitely get two doors instead of one big one, but they are always hinged on the side. All the options are on the link.

At the beginning of the video, you said these were affordable. I stopped watching when it was up to $489 for one window, and you were still not done ordering. I'm very glad that you're successful enough to afford these shutters, but $500 or more per window is not "affordable" for most average everyday Americans.

Affordable is relative. These look reasonable priced for the quality of them. Just because you cannot afford $500 for a window shutter doesn't mean they are unaffordable.

@@jeremyhale6403 That's $500 PER WINDOW, so if you have a typical house with 15 windows, that's $7500 for blinds. Give me a break, you elitist snob.

@jeremyhale6403 I didn’t say they were cheap. But they are much more affordable than having them professionally installed and that was my point. And they are the only window treatment that will last forever.

Literally in the introduction of the video he NEVER said they were affordable, and he EVEN SAID THEY WERE NOT CHEAP
