Plus, before I shaved my head, I struggled with dandruff, and I see Head & Shoulders and other dandruff shampoos sold throughout East Asia. Now that I shave my head, I don't have dandruff and the fungus that causes dandruff doesn't grow on the jaw, only the scalp. The bigger irony is that the women in the video were literally wearing dirt masks, as make up is made of minerals (ie. dirt), animal fats, oils, chemicals, etc. Very few bearded men literally apply dirt to their faces intentionally each morning.

i guess it's down to the the texture of east asian hair. unlike western men, east asian facial hair tends to poke out like whiskers so they're pointing in random directions which doesn't give a neat look. its the same situation our hair, which is especially noticable on the sides when it's short, it tends to jut out instead of resting on the scalp.
