Mike Locker hit the nail on the head. That looks don't matter is one of the big lies all dating gurus tell. Probably because it invalidates their advice about men forcing themselves to be confident, funny, etc. They wouldn't have much of a business if they told the truth about how important looks are. That would only help a cosmetic surgeon's business, not theirs. Women also have extra reasons (just as shallow) that attract them to good looking men. For example it gives them status, the man is a fashion accessory. I don't blame women for being shallow about looks, men are even more so. It just bugs me when they keep propagating this myth, either for money or they're honestly completely delusional. In my experience, women don't seem to understand themselves any more than men do. My advice to men: you can probably improve your looks a lot more than you think without surgery. Pay attention to good looking men. Their hairstyle, how they dress. Copy them and experiment, find your own style. Trim eyebrows, nose hairs, take care of your skin/face with cleansers/exfoliates (moisturize as necessary), whiten your teeth, smell good, wear good shoes. I know it's all superficial but women are superficial, they care about these things. Take pride in yourself. The gurus have it backwards. Don't force yourself to be confident. When women notice you because of your looks, you become more confident, you're more comfortable so you can be yourself. Your funny side, how interesting you are comes out naturally. Women respond positively to this and you become more confident. It's a self-improving cycle.

I have never had many men approach me and I can tell you it’s because they DON’T and DIDN’T find me physically attractive enough to them . How do I know? I have been out with both a good friend years ago and men would all gravitate towards her even though it was clear I was her friend and one time , a guy even left me after she went to use the restroom. People can say all they want about how it must’ve been a negative or insecure vibe I was giving off as a reason or something ridiculous but I can assure you I was just normal , talking like a normal person , smiling , laughing . Same thing happened while out with my sister . Some guy was staring at her as we walked by but not at all at me. Now, some of this can come down to personal preference for certain looks but the bottom line is , when they don’t know you at all and haven’t met you at all , the only thing they have to go off of is your looks and whether that sparks some initial interest for them . THAT is what makes then approach you on the first place at which point they want to see if they also like your personality and character. I’m not saying attraction cannot happen over time but it is usually in places like at work or somewhere where you two happen to go to frequently or daily because it’s somewhere you need to go to whether you want to or not . The gym is another example of you happen to casually strike up a conversation with someone you see frequently . But I am not naive or stupid enough to believe that it was just my “negative vibes “ or attitude that was repelling them from approaching me in the first place . I’m tired of seeing people tell men and women that it’s because other people see their insecurity or whatever negative thing that is preventing them from being approached . It’s such BS.

I find it hard to believe that you never get interest from men, when you go out. Although most men would like the hottest girls, they are also realistic and will approach girls of different levels of attractiveness until they find one who's receptive. Also many men play it safe and aim lower than their level. So looks matter for both men and women but looks aren't how women solely determine if they are going to fuck a guy. As a short man, I am glad that is true. But not vast girls are like that.Many girls are like that. I have been rejected for my height but I have also been successful with hotter(tall of course) women. So all in all, the answer is that it all DEPENDS and it is a good thing. Having said that, less than average guys like me have to work harder to get women and I welcome challenge. We live in a very competitive world in terms of job security, business growth, wealth, education, pussy and in retaining our wives from leaving us/cheating on our back. Competition is 10 times harder than what it used to be. So just fight hard like a soldier. That is what I want to do. If you feel you are short like me, work on your muscles, work on style, for style you need to have money to buy good clothes, work on your income, work your studies, work on how you want to become interesting. That is right folks. We are always fighting against ourselves. It is a war. Hold the weights and burn your muscles if you need to. Stop sleeping and study hard if you need to do... Looks are all genetics. But when you succeed as a conventionally unattractive man like me, you will know how good it feels..You will know that the 10/10 pretty boy is not superior to you, its just because of his genes. I never wish I was a 6 ft 3 Bradley Cooper cause life would have been pretty much boring. I know 10/10 guys who goes to the club and gets women asking for their numbers. Ask me, NO THANKS. Let me just say that I have made three fake dating profiles (They were all male profiles. One is hot, one is average looking, and the third one is below average). As a good looking male, I can agree that she is right. For women look's arn't everything, I've been turned down because of how my behaviour was, and not because of my appearance. Of course she need's an attraction. But the way you make her feel in your prescence is so much more important. You just need to hit that sweet spot, own your ground, let her react to your Masculine energy. You basically need to have the mindset that you have something positive to offer and let her see it.
