@@GlobalAdventureroh do u mean that lots of middle eastern dishes were stolen by Ottoman Empire?
@Moatazzicon4 ай бұрын
@@GlobalAdventurer that’s delusion monster level! I got lots of misinformation here first of all turkey didn’t bring Islam to the region Islam already existed long time before Ottoman Empire was a thing, also can u mention which dishes has turkey brought to Middle East?
@Ziad31953 ай бұрын
@@GlobalAdventurerUh,yeah, no. "The Ottoman Empire" =/= "Turkey".
@Ziad31953 ай бұрын
@@MoatazziconHuh? The Ottoman Empire didn't steal food of Middle Easterners or Balkans or any region they ruled over for that matter. That included knowledge, traditions, music, food and more. The concept of "stealing" here doesn't play. There was a mutual cultural exchange between the Ottomans and the ruled people that went both ways and they both took from eeachohter and both adapted and mixed these, rather than stealing. The Middle East is also is not a monolithic entity and food here evolved over centuries and varies significantly from region to region.

I knew the pyramids were white because of some old video game I played. A strategy game where you were in charge of an ancient Egyptian city and had to plan for agriculture and the manufacturing of textiles, beer, papyrus and several other things. And you had to mine for limestone for the exterior of the pyramids to make them white. It wasn't Civilization. As I recall, the game was exclusively about Egypt. It might have been Pharaoh.

Thought this would be interesting to see Mexicans try Egyptian food because I heard Spanish people came from Egypt and Mexicans came from Spain. Some Egyptian dishes did have Mexican elements. Maybe some Italian and Greek too.
@pinkworld93844 ай бұрын
Mexicans (Did Not Come From Spain) Are Native American From The North American Continent. Spain came to the Americas to Invade and Destroy Ancient civilizations Such as the Mexicas aka The Aztecs (and others) who lived in Tenochtitlan aka Mexico City etc etc. Most Mexicans do have a mixture of Iberian Penninsula aka Spanish and Indigenous American DNA etc etc. Viva Mexico!🇲🇽

The food quality is clearly low, it can hardly represent the sheer quality and the massive legacy of the Egyptian cuisine. I will not hold it against the producers of the video, probably it is difficult to make these dishes properly if you lack proper high quality ingredients or skills. Thank you nonetheless
