To sum this video up: Michigan losing to Ohio State every year and not winning the conference is completely acceptable and Michigan fans should be happy about it..Sounds great to me. I’m a Buckeye fan. Keep up the good work Jimmy Hairball!

Rich Rod was building a team for the future,he saw the tide of change from big ten style football to faster pace offensive and defensive style like O.S.U,N.D.,SEC,Pac 10 he was trying to make the change long ago but nooooooo the lovers of stagnant smash mouth style prevailed and years later here we are back at the beginning stages of program building.U of M really needs to stop that Michigan Man bs and soon!

As a Michigan fan, I love Harbaugh and wouldn't trade him anyone (except Nick Saban). However, throughout his career he has been known to not win the big ones. Superbowl loss, NFC championship loss, OSU losses, MSU losses. This is a trend.

Griff Fourn I'm a Miners fan. I hate Whitlock but he's right. Stanford can't beat Oregon. He couldn't beat his brother or Seahawks. Can't beat Ohio State.

cacable7 What happened with the Michigan bowl game, what happened with the Bama game? That's why
@grifffourn82006 жыл бұрын
cacable7 Chill dude. Alabama has a more relaxed academic standards, sure. There's more to sports than the players' abilities. If Jim Caldwell was the coach of the Patriots and Belichick the coach of the Lions, the Lions could be contenders and the Patriots a wildcard team, primarily due to Brady. How many superstars were on the Celtics last year, one-IT4, who might not even be a superstar but a star. Yet, they were the number one seed because they have a great coach. Coaching is incredibly important, and great coaching will bring up mediocre talent. His final MSU season he was 9-2, he was 34-24 overall, and after a few .500 seasons he eventually made them a winner. Saban is like Belichick, his teams are incredibly disciplined. They had a turnover margin of +13, Michigan has a turnover margin of -4. That's not player skill, that's coaching. Academics are irrelevant with that coaching.
@grifffourn82006 жыл бұрын
cacable7 Well, Brady is a coach on the field more or less. I didn't say *talent* is irrelevant, I said academics are irrelevant. Vanderbilt isn't a sports school, Duke competes for the NCAAB National Championship virtually every year. Stanford has quite a few recent national championships: 2017/18 Women's Soccer National Champions, 2016/17 Volleyball National Champions, 2016/17 Men's Soccer National Champions, 2016/17 Rowing Champions. Your argument is that because of the Academics, those schools couldn't possibly compete, well look; in many sports, most where individual talent is more important than football, those schools *do* compete at a high level, regardless of academic standards. Now, you seem to think I'm saying coaching is all that matters and talent is irrelevant, which is not my point. I said great coaching brings up mediocre talent. You misunderstood my point about the Patriots. They have mediocre talent, Brady aside. Belichick's coaching elevates that mediocre talent to Superbowl contenders. That's why I believe Belichick would elevate the Lion's mediocre talent to contenders. I wouldn't claim he would take the Browns to the playoffs, that's ridiculous. But great coaching takes mediocre to great. Now, Saban gets elite talent and elevates them to nearly unbeatable. Harbaugh too gets elite talent, recruiting ranked no.4 2017, and no.8 2016, but that talent is not raised to the same heights as, I believe, Saban would elevate it to. Also, you should watch this video, Joel Klatt explains why the Academic Standards argument doesn't matter, in this case why Notre Dame can't use it as an excuse: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rpW2eZirZaunrpo

This is a terrible take... look at a majority of their wins within that 24-7 record. Only bowl win is to Florida, finishing 3rd and 4th consistently and 1-6 against rivals. The delusion is insane.

I would just like to point out that, today on his show, Colin said people were stupid for thinking Gruden would be the HC of Tennessee. But in this video he basically acts like its a done deal. This is why people criticize him, he's a shock jock. Nothing more. Not a legitimate broadcaster.

These expectations were put on him the minute he got there. When you are a power 5 football coach the expectation is conference championship playoff games and a national championship. Jim harbaugh has not only achieved this, he's 1-1 in bowl games and is 1-2 against MSU and 0-2 against OSU. I'll give him credit when he's done this and consistently. OSU has won a national championship the first year they had the college football playoffs and beat ND in the fiesta bowl a year later. MSU has won the big ten twice won the rose bowl and played in a playoff game. Once Jim achieves this at Michigan I'll respect him. Until then he's average.
@democratssuck98567 жыл бұрын
Not even a Michigan Fan, but how many did he win and can he win the big games? Did you read what I said until he achieves beating his rivals and winning conference championships and national championships I'll respect him. They should have won that orange bowl last season and beat Iowa. Didn't do either. MSU was 3-9 last season...They're 4-1. That MSU UM game was at UM. Mark Dantonio is 2-1 against UM. OSU is 2-0 since Harbaugh started coaching UM. Win the rivalry games, win the bowl games, win the titles, I'll respect him. He's done a lot but still needs to do those things.

The "Michigan" being relevant thing is a myth. They are not a great team now nor were they over the last twenty years. Great teams win Championships. They win their conference, they go to the playoffs, they beat their rivals. Harbaugh has done none of this. He has had four years to do something of consequence and he has failed. Great try guys but you're all full of it.

And Harbaugh should stick with what he allegedly knows, which is coaching, instead of guest starring in music videos, calling out fellow coaches on twitter, and diving with his shirts on. We wouldn't be in this conversation if Harbaugh had at least beaten OSU once.

Simply watch Jim Harbaugh when he gives a post game interview after any loss. Harbaugh acts like a spoiled child who didn't get his way. He whines, cries and blames everyone else for the loss. Perhaps Harbaugh is suffering from the effects of CTE.

Harbaugh has not even played his own players until this year, and they are a bunch of freshman. First year cast off transfer at QB 10-3, miracle fluke loss to MSU. Second year Speight gets hurt, tough loss to OSU. Third year Speight gets hurt and cast off O'korn kills them. Look at any program without a QB and tell me there record? Harbaugh does more with less than anyone else.
@user-gj1uh3cm2z7 жыл бұрын
With less? He had 18 kids that went to NFL camps next year, he's recruiting worse than the classes he came in to, so I don't know what his recruits are going to do that's better. - Realistic Michigan Fan
