NO Newfoundlands do not bark alot.They are not yappers! Their bark is a deep howl...more of a growl which I have noticed one of their favorite places is late at night, outside,howling at the moon! My Newf looked at me and swore that I should pay attention to his moon! AnnaPenrod 😎 One thing that I noticed...A Newfie will bark until it gets your attention...until it knows that you have seen the "trouble " it has been trying to show you.. 😎Anna Penrod
