Some people complained about J. Balvin asking people to spend $100 on merch to get EA to the J3 Rio. Balvin used the same concept that JD/FL uses. To Be granted EA on JD/FL, you have to have enough points available to cop when you're granted EA to a shoe. How do you get those points? You have to spend! And even if you are granted EA on JD/FL, are you guaranteed the ability to buy the shoe??? JD/FL don't make it as obvious as Balvin did, but it's the same concept. I spent the $100, Got EA, and I got my shoe!! 😁

I ain’t mad at it but the difference is with Finishline I buy things I actually want regardless of EA and if I do get EA then it’s a bonus. With the J Balvín EA I didn’t want the merch so I passed on it although if I actually liked his merch I would’ve definitely purchased merch. Luckily I copped via EQL raffle so everything worked out in the end.
