Misleading title. 90% of us still want a traditional box with a liner and it will work better than that fancy steel floor for freezing, sticking, and you can replace a liner over and over if you need

This is true. My friend Tom made a mistake. This body was designed to replace an all aluminum dump used for small aggregate. The R/S-Godwin Hybrid dump uses an AR crossmemberless steel floor for longevity and durability, and aluminum sides for desired weight savings. Weight is comparable to that of an all aluminum body with stacked understructure. The steel floor eliminates the need for periodic aluminum section plating, and prevents "washboarding" for less downtime and maintenance. This body is NOT designed for "nasty stuff".

@@rolling1885 We sell both AR500 and AR450 dump bodies. To be honest, for most people the added cost of the 500 over the 450 isn't worth the squeeze. The ar500 isn't available (yet) in the same thicknesses as ar450 on the thinner end. A well designed properly spec'd ar450 body can handle pretty much anything you want it to handle on a street legal chassis. About the toughest reasonable (price and weight) setup you can get is a 3/16" ar450 body with radius floor corners. Once you go to 1/4" it gets really heavy... but yeah it's a little tougher. The radius corners soften impact of harsh materials by deflecting them inward. The radius also provides a more balanced load by centering the weight more than with squared corners. There is nothing wrong with ar500. It has its place. It can be cost prohibitive and is often overkill. 95% of haulers will never need anything more than 3/16" ar450. We've had customers use 3/16" ar450 radius dumps in concrete demo and quarries running an average of 18 hours a day for 6-8 years with minimal deformation and wear.
