Engine oil level wont always be perfect so it would be good to check it too along with coolant level, these are the first things I check :) When I bought my RR I wanted to check the coolant level and the sales guy was like its hidden somewhere below, why do you want to check, if there is anything wrong it will pop up on the console :P Then I didnt bother with it. Also chain slack and lube needs to be checked. One of my friend in blore got his bike with completely dry chain. You have covered almost everything else, nice informative vid for all the new buyers. It might help to list all the points on the description in case anyone needs to revise it :)

Strell 1.In all bike specifications "Ground clearance" is mentioned.What exactly it mean ? If the ground clearance value is low it mean the bike height is low? 2. Hi Peaceful man, 1. Ground clearance low means, it you have little space between your bike and road. So one need to be careful over humps. Low ground clearance generally has low seat height since the bike wont be so high. Generally seen in cruisers. 2. You always look for the figure of seat height . Low seat height is the comfortable to place feet. 3. Yes , 4 wheeler driving schools teaches 2 wheeler too. But only in few places.

Hi Prajwal. Be calm and take motorcycle to your service center. And please dont call me sir :D You have engine heat indicator in the console. There are two indicators, one is for fuel and other is for engine heat.

Strell Buddy Question 1 :Do some tyre brands improve the performance of a bike or its just a belief ? For instance if there are 3 brands offering tyres for a particular bike , is there any chance for one brand to be much superior than the rest or all the brand tyres have almost the same effect? Question 2: Just now i saw a tyre specification (110 70 R17) and they have mentioned maximum load as 212 kg.If 3 persons travel in that bike and if the total weight comes to around 240 kg will their travel be a risky one? Question 3: Which one makes the tyres wear out quickly ? Travelling very long distance or carrying more weight but riding shorter distance?

To answer your question one by one, 1. No tyre can improve the "Performance" of a bike. But good tires can help one in extending their skills to utilize the max out of a motorcycle. One brand will be superior to the other when the brand make more purpose tyres. Say for a road bike, a brand makes a softer compound tyre which sticks to road on all climates and get heated up quickly. 2. The problem of overloading a tyre is always risky. Because if you try to overload and run the motorcycle in the max speed which is mentioned on tyre, there are high chances that the tyre may flip from the rim and end up in crashing the bike. Or another scenario of going through a big pot hole while over loading. 3. Wearing of tyres are not so much proportional to the weight. It mainly depends on the distance traveled or the number of acceleration and deceleration you make with that tire. So riding long distance will be the main reason for wear because, firstly you are riding more distance, secondly you will be doing lot of acceleration/deceleration while riding. Riding with more number of people will increase the contact patch of tyre with the road. It doesnt make it wear so quickly. Hope I have answered your questions :)

Ask them what specif issues are there. There is an exclusive forum for cbr riders. I havnt seen so bad reviews about initial versions. But if there is an option , go for a recent one. 2011 means it's already 6 years.

Thats quite unfortunate. This wont damage the engine since you had stopped. Can you tell me how many bars was there when the engine heated up. Ideal should be 3. This could be a problem with coolant filling or radiator fans. Contact service center immediately.
