Allready buyed a lot of stuff from motea NEVER NEVER had some kind of problem with them , respect the time delivery , good quality stuff , good prices with discount , honestly i think you give more focus on the outside paper them you give on the stuff inside , is there any problem or issue on the stuff that you ordered ? In your video you only spoke about the box paper bla bla bla .. oh men go live your life go ride your bike and be happy

I'm sympathetic but seriously this long video just because of the condition of the packaging and you haven't even opened it and inspected the product? When you ordered this what were you paying for/buying? The packaging or the product? Personally, if the product is in the condition I expect I don't care what the packaging looks like.

The frame of the rear paddock stand was bent. Total disaster. Fou d it hard to believe they'd even ship in damaged box. No return policy for those of us on the States and correspondence goes unanswered.

I have been buying from Motea regularly for years. I once had a complaint about a crash bar that had a defect, and they promptly refunded my money and I could keep the crash bar. Their customer service is fast and friendly and always at your service. Never any problems with them! This is a video about a cardboard box that was apparently mishandled by the courier service. Completely missed post...

You must live in Europe. And take note, the inner box from their warehouse was damaged as well, AND in different locations than on the outer box. Plus, the frame was bent. Your inattention to details tells me you're not too smart.

what a fuss about a box . who cares its only packaging , just as long as the item is good the rest just goes in the bin . iv used motea and always been happy , very good products at very reasonable prices , if you want daft high end packaging then pay stupid high end prices,

I bought twice. 1. Delivery was perfect! 2. Delivery was from my side wrong ordered,because of wrong model -ok warning was missing, but return was no issues, got money faster back then expected. Packing is always not very rigid, but all parts I ordered was in perfect conditions. I will order again.

This is an email from moteas customer service department. "you are obviously eager to start conflicts for no specific reason. Please try to be calm and collected and stick to objective facts. Of course, you may preach to others your mighty wisdom. We don't wish to invest time in conversations as such. The facts related to your orders are simple and clear. We will not offer any further replies to moralizing messages." I just wanted to.know if my order of £550 was actually coming. Stay away from this company.

AVOID AVOID AVOID Worst customer service ever! One lady that answers the phones refuses to let you speak with anyone else, refusing to issue my refund for an order that was placed a month ago! It took 3 weeks for delivery and then when arrived, without any prior warning or any statements on invoicing, I was then hit with hefty import taxes which I refused to pay and contacted Motea who declare its “not their problem” for an already expensive item and refused the delivery. There has been no service update from Motea, whenever I call for an update the woman is extremely rude and couldn’t care less. Date of experience: December 02, 2022

Well, it was damaged. The frame was bent. I've received items from Europe and never had this problem, largely due to competent packaging standards.

Ok, so the box is damaged, and the box in the box is damaged. You don't know that the shipping company didn't open the outside box and/or reinsert the inside box after it fell out. Both boxes may have been in perfect condition when they left the Motea. But regardless, open the inside box and put the stand together - if there's nothing wrong with the stand use it and quit making videos about damaged cardboard and your cat.

Frame of the stand was bent and unusable. Emails and calls went unanswered. Customer service is non-existent for anyone outside of Europe. This company (for anyone in the U.S.) SUCKS!

packaging is there to protect the product, if the product arrived undamaged but the packaging is damaged, it means that the packaging fulfilled its purpose... unfortunately courier companies treat our packages like garbage

Couldn't get through by phone or email. Original box was damaged in places where outer box was not indicating the box was damaged prior to being placed in outer box.

Demand for extra delivery charges at door. On delivery I was presented with an additional invoice for £77 shipping costs. Had paid £11.99 for this and at no time was it mentioned that there would be any further costs prior to ordering. I paid the full amount on the invoice they sent me. Do not deal with this company . I ordered a set of upper and lower crash bars +Auxiliary lights for Honda NC750X ,I paid £321 and I received only the upper crash bars a invoice of 133,33€ at this moment I’ve been waiting two weeks I sent lots of emails,called them no answer whatsoever,Have I been scammed? 😠

Mirrors advertised for bike don’t fit . Cheap plastic heads which are ONE piece and do not rotate at the mirror joint . Bought an air compressor for tires which has plastic or rubber blocking display . Pressure sensor for tyres came with flat battery in sensors . If you are thinking of buying from this site, you could compare this potential purchase to setting your wallet on fire. Date of experience: November 02, 2022

Just seen this vid as was looking for a vid to see how to fit the stand. My stand came from this company packaged absolutely fine. It was bubble wrapped and cable tied to the bottom of the box so it didn’t rattle around in the box.

the red flag was the "we do not accept returns from this country"... thats where you stop and look for a different retailer. this is probably due to extra customs because its outside the EU, and they dont want to bother with extra charges and the extra steps for a return from a non-EU country. i know people who bought from MOTEA within EU and they had no issues with delivery or returns when needed, and it is in general a well known company here in Europe

I have heard that they are fairly good in Europe. But how can you excuse a severely damaged box being packed into another box that got severely damaged? Are they just sending their shit products to America and other countries outside Europe just to rid themselves of the garbage Europeans wouldn't want? However you slice it, it shows a total disregard for paying customers outside of Europe. Hopefully, America and other countries outside of Eurooe will boycott Motea. I've talked several people out of doing business with them. If you can't give quality customer service worldwide, don't advertise worldwide. Great comment. Ride well my friend.

DO NOT USE MOTEA...... i purchased a top box on sale on the 8th of October, when it arrived they asked for an extra €50+ on taxes and international charges (which they put in small print) so the 30% I saved on there sale ended up being more than the original price elsewhere. I refused the delivery and asked for it to be sent back to sender, I'm still waiting on my refund and it's the 9th of December now. Worst company I've ever dealt with, please stay clear as they just seem to scam people and make you wait for your money back, the worst customer service I've ever had, i had to call and email them multiple times to try and get my money back. I never leave reviews but in this case i hope it saves other people from all the hassle motea has put me through. Date of experience: December 09, 2022

Poor I ordered a constand lifter for my Ducati Diavel and I accidentally pressed for a newer model, I couldn't correct it in the order. And of course the one that was ordered arrived with the only option to return the product that I waited for 3 weeks and paid immediately. I think it's not in ok Date of experience: November 21, 2022

The frame was bent. And what type of decent business puts a badly damaged box inside another box in the first place? This company screws people outside of Europe. They ship piece of crap items knowing the return policy is pretty much none existent. All attempts to contact these people went unanswered. Now if you want to deal with such unprofessional people then fine. I'm going to call them out as the a__holes they are.

2 days delayed -expensive posts it was 2 days delayed than the they have written to me in their first letter the post service was very expensive for 1,5 kg from Germany ,and 10days waiting time for a standard shipping . Date of experience: November 29, 2022

Communication not possible with this… Communication not possible with this company. Prices are cheap though. I bought a motobike headlight that fogged up on the first day. Can't be bothered going through the hassle of dealing with them and sending it back as I had to wait so long for the item in the first place. Date of experience: September 15, 2022

@@OldGuyRidin I had my buddy that speaks German call. He could not get anyone on the line. Glad I used PayPal. I sent about 10 emails to them. I have almost all the parts I just need a few things but I don’t have the pins to hold the bike. My was packed worse than yours. It has like no tape at all. Even the mail guys laughed

Terrible customer service Shipped my parts 3 hours away from me and told me they'd been delivered to me. Motea are refusing to acknowledge their mistake, with multiple back and forth emails. The delivery went to a completely different city which would cost me as much as the parts did to pickup (provided it's even there). Motea are refusing to refund and refusing to sort this out with their shipping company and refund me. Terrible customer service. Avoid Date of experience: December 08, 2022

maybe it was send through denmark , danish mail service postnord just stole a front tire for my motorcycle , less than 1 month ago they stole a radio controlled boat more than 1 meter long , if they dont steal it they beat it to trash.

That's horrible! I don't understand how some companies and services such as carriers can be so negligent. As for mine, it's obvious it was trashed before being put into another box for shipping. Buyer beware right? Ride well my friend.

You refuse to show us the contents of the inner box because it would undermine the entire video.We watching all know the item is probably in good condition because It's a piece of metal and hasn't pierced the box. Are you complaining about the cardboard box not being pretty? You didn't even open the package. What if the product is in perfect condition? You are angrily claiming to be 'ripped off' for over 8 minutes because the box doesn't look nice. I'm ordering from them, this didn't change my mind in the slightest.

You must live in Europe. If you live in the USA, they suck. Not only the outer box was damaged but the inner product box was damaged in different places which means it was packed that way. The frame itself was bent and trying to contact them (numerous times) proofed futile. They're a piece shit company and I let Americans know that.

I bought a pair soft panniers Bagtecs to Africa Twin CRF1000 from Motea GmbH, brand new of course. After 3 moths I lost two pieces of buckles... no parts, no help, in fact warranty is virtually. I don’t recommend this supplier :(

@@OldGuyRidin Oh - it had not been shipped yet, so I caught them before they sent it. I ordered just 30 minutes before seeing your video, so I was able to cancel the order right away with an email they acknowledged next day.

very bad customer service I don't understand how you can deal with a company who will not allow any contact with them before a sale?? i wanted to buy a seat refurb from them but cannot ask any questions about any thing comfort quality of their product very very poor customer service i feel.why would you buy something without being able to speak to them they could be rip-off artists. and to say we have so many orders we cannot take time to talk to our future customers.. If you are in the UK then DO NOT use… If you are in the UK then DO NOT use this company. The website says price includes VAT but it does not! I emailed three times asking for an invoice which showed VAT was included but all I received was an invoice without VAT. Then UPS arrived and gave me an invoice for £102 which they said I had to pay before I got my goods. The UPS driver left with my goods and even though I have phoned an paid the extra amount I don’t know when I’m going to get them? Absolutely diabolical!!! I’ve spent over £500 now with no goods to show for it! You’ve been warned - buy your goods from elsewhere. Date of experience: October 26, 2022

Seriously don't be rough about a chinese compagny with low, very low prices, like you can be when you order at a great compagny like Revzilla or an official store It's cheap for all that reasons ; shipping, less quality (for exemple bolts), not fitting exactly without some adaptations

@jmt8575 Motea is based out of Germany. Regardless, any business, if they want to thrive, should have quality control, sufficient packaging, and great customer service. Motea has none of the above. The stand frame I bought was bent, but good luck trying to communicate with this piss-poor company. Whether this is a well-known company or not, and it IS well-known throughout Europe, customer satisfaction should matter. You have no knowledge of economics, do you?

Don't you think a company should have some pride in the way they package their goods? If you think sending out torn and damaged packages is fine, then you're DEFINITELY a lower class of people. Not only was the outside box damaged but the box the item was originally packed in was damaged and at different locations than those of the outer box. That means the original damaged box was put into the outer box damaged. Can your simple mind grasp that concept?

Well,there you go. I've heard nothing but positive responses close to where the company is located. If you outside of Europe, and to these people I made my video, you're pretty much screwed. No return policy exists and all forms of correspondence go unanswered. Europeans seem to be exempt. But you have to admit, the item was packed horribly. A damaged box inside another damaged box. Plus the stand frame was bent. Glad to hear your item(s) were handled more professionally. Ride well Lauren.
