that's the issue. We know that while we are a very flawed nation, we also know that fundamentally. We are a beautiful nation. We know that our constitution is a beautiful thing. And that is, what makes America such a great country. At the end of the day regardless of our flaws, it is our constitution, the fundamental rights that it grants every single person who is a citizen in this country. We understand that makes us lucky, so you can understand why it is heart wrenching for so many of us to realize that we are on the cusp of losing what makes us such a beautiful privileged nation. And the reason why this is so hard for so many Americans is because one party now controls our entire government from the local level, to the state and the federal level. Even our Supreme court who are the deciding factor in anything pertaining to our constitution is now controlled by 1 party. The entire reason America has so many branches of Government is to prevent this EXACT situation. To have checks and balances and safe guards in place. Those are non existent now. the President. The head of that entire government wants to take so many steps which would remove our constitutional rights. His "wish list" is a 900 page manifesto that reads like a dystopian novel set in post Handmaides Tale/Hollacaust Soviet Union 2.0

It will be a peaceful transition but in all honesty, I wouldn't have blamed her if she contested it and said "This is an outrage, I'm not accepting this", well, why not? After all, Trump threw his toys out of the pram when he lost last time so why can't she? Oh, of course, I forgot, one rule for one and one rule for another, silly me. He's allowed to behave as badly as he likes and she's not, right? Now I get it!

sometimes "fight" simply means you point out a lie when you would have ignored it and said nothing; there are different levels of engagement; every little choice toward lifting up each other in times of darkness counts as fighting; you protecting yourself and your family, counts as fighting; hugs to you and your family
