Apparently the other ending in UPTLF is if you open the door with the key that you find in the toilet while trying to find the gnome earlier, you find a vat letting out some chemical gas and Uncle Panko rushes you to the hospital after realizing that he must have left you in the house breathing it in for days and it explains why you'd see the creepy demon creatures while you were doing chores. I'm replaying the game now and I found out what happens when you do the opposite of Uncle Panko's instructions when locking the doors. As of right now, in game, I've locked myself in the downstairs bathroom with a red candle that I was instructed to light. But there was also a white candle and a green candle in the bedside drawer.....and I've been thinking about lighting those next time I do this.....

@M J Not yet. The last time I replayed the game was to have my dad play, but I ended up taking over and playing the game normally. I know I'm going to test out the other two candles, though, much sooner than later. Got to test out the other two candles. Both of them have the course of action: Light one of the wrong candles (white or green), go down the stairs, run into a monster, and start over so you can pick the right candle (red).

I think a game based on haunted children's shows or films is an interesting idea. Could you imagine playing a creepy game were you are taught a foreign language and spooky things happen? As a kid, I hated watching certain vhs tapes because of how creepy and unsettling they were (I think that was unintentional though) and even worse, my parents would bring me even closer to the T.V screen sometimes which didn't help.
