Try the Guarapo made on the street where you can see them squeeze the sugar cane and combine it with the lime juice. Incredibly sweet and tasty and sticky…

I stay in colombia for 4 months over 2 visits. Great place to visit if you do the right thing. Best place to stay. Los patios boutique hostel in pablado

I disagree with your assessment of el centro. I really enjoy it at least before 7 pm. It has a certain energy you don’t get in el poblado or laureles. It’s not European old but you feel history when you’re there. Like what Medellin looked liked in the 60s 70s 80s. It gives me a connection to Medellins past.

I travel the same way but its always burner phone with burner wallet and minimal cash no id.

Unfortunately Vancouver has a huge drug problem just like San Francisco I've seen people doing all sort of drugs on the streets and there was some sort of government agency helping them out with syringes... mind-blowing 😢

Helping them stayed drugged up and useless like the western governments want. Too high to care, Too high to fight back or even stand up.

That is the world. I live in Italia you can walk by certain streets all you see are syringes and ppl shooting up.

just be aware, you cannot do both. you cannot be fully aware of who is around you and what they are up to, AND simultaneously walk, film and talk. you are "dando papaya" every time you do this. ten cuidado. ten más cuidado.
