I have an an extraordinary story for you, it comes from the Isle of Mull in Scotland and was recorded in the 17th century. This tale has survived centuries I think, because it was so horrific. And so preventable. It was believed by the local community, after the incident occurred, that a visit by a Fairy on Beltane evening was in fact a forewarning of calamity. A warning which was sadly, ignored. Come sick down with me for a chilling true story from Scotland.

Even as a fully respectably traditional Irish American gent I still don't observe "Beltane" nor ANY other pagan festival/holiday as a practicing Galilean Christian today. However I do respect and honor others beliefs, practices and customs from afar. Kitty is right though. Spring is indeed a great time of activity, waking up from long winters hibernation rest, joy, celebration and scurrying about in the woods creatures great and small as well within the Faerie community proper. They have always seemed kinda "frenzied and easily aggravated" during spring time since I was a child so I have always tried to keep my interactions and areas of known dense concentrations of Faerie activity in general to a very bare minimum during this season. I always assumed that this is mating/in season time for the Fae like most wildlife. Just a thought though. I just try to stay out of all their way and do my thing as usual until summer arrives and sanity returns to my neck of the woods. Yup........😇🍄🍀✝️ Outstanding content Madame Kitty and Monsieur Dan.

Most sane people would say that was wise, but no one has ever accused me of sanity.🤗 And if I had the chance, I think I’d hide and watch for a while.❤️🤗🐝

I think you have more chances of encountering a hungry bear 🐻 coming out of hibernation at that time than the fae anyway. 😂
