I missed the live stream, but watched shortly thereafter! I am so glad I found you a couple of weeks ago! I am your new best fan. I'm just got started yesterday on The Petit Rouge Rooster kit, and a bit overwhelmed with decisions, but having fun. I can't wait to order that new BOM kit!! It must get frustrating to have to repeat yourself over and over to the same questions, but you display such patience. Meanwhile, I am watching every tutorial you have on KZbin to better educate myself to the process. I have been a needle turn applique and traditional piecing quilter for years, thus this collage quilting is new and exciting for me.

NOTE: parchment paper has silicone infused in it, freezer paper has plastic on one side.

I had a question about the Raven colors. I am having trouble deciding which colors other than black. It blows the mind to use blues and I know it works because your sample has it. Like you said "It still reads Raven."

I rarely, if EVER, use true black. Deep purples, blues, and greens make for excellent "black" colors. If you were to look at a landscape painting, you would find that the artist never actually uses black either! I also don't use solids, so keep that in mind too.
