Finally seeing prices that make a bit more sense up here in the northeast! On mid size trucks too! Local Nissan dealer taking almost $5,000 off new 2024 frontiers & the same dealer offering $6,500-$7,500 off new 2024 Jeep gladiators!!! As cool as those gladiators are, even that discounted price just seems too high! With the MSRPs over $70k! And still what still bad, is these stupid interest rates!! 7,8,9%!!??? On brand new!?? C’mon, seriously 😒

Yep discounts are nice and glad we are seeing them. But it's still too expensive to buy a new truck today. The combo of price and rate is insane

This Satruday I went in to my local Toyota dealer to test drive a 2024 1794 Tundra iForce Max, and I did not like the truck. The manager told me that those trucks "are selling fast", when I know it's not true (research). I do appreciate that the sales rep texted me a few days after, not pushy at all. Still, I'll stick to my EcoD Glad!

Yep sales guys do alot of training to try and get you to buy. And Many of them are really good at it.

@@Jason-Samko and the manager also told me that the “owner” wanted to buy my Diesel Gladiator lol
@Jason-Samko7 ай бұрын
@@Coyote5555 I don't doubt that. Contrary to what the stupid internet says, that eco diesel is suck a great motor in the gladiator.

The destination fee is part of the MSRP, so we now know that any dealer who lists the destination fee as a separate item is testing if the customer is doing research and anyone excepting the fee can be immediately taken advantage of the the max. But all dealers list the destination fee separately so we know all dealers are liars.
@Jason-Samko7 ай бұрын
Yep destination fee is on the window sticker and included in msrp. And dealer charging it again is a scammer.

When I see 30% off then I’ll start looking. They better do something sooner than later…because even if the price becomes right…lot rot, rust, dead battery needs to be taken care of or rectified in the price. I’m so disappointed at DCJR..still selling out of date with old tech..and wanting the money they want for these Chargers & Challengers is ridiculous!!! An R/T could have been had for (pre covid) $28,000 - $30,000 now they want hellcat money for them? Thats nutty!
@Jason-Samko7 ай бұрын
Yep stellantis raise prices the highest of all manufacturers. But the good news now is they are highly negotiable
@wd80857 ай бұрын
They seriously need to knock 40% off these crazy msrp's to make them any kind of a deal. It sounds like a lot off but when they marked them up 40% then its just time to come back to normal.
@Jason-Samko7 ай бұрын
Would love it if they did. But I dont see that normal ever coming back. Sure wish it would though.

Unfortunately, where I live in upstate New York, I want to see the 2024 *"**#Toyota_Tacoma**"* Prices come down. But as soon as a Tacoma come in, they go out. They are even on back order. All are still costing 42,000 to 47,000 thousand dollars 😒 Listening to you, I probably have to go down South and buy the truck and then bring it back uP ⬆️ North. The Chevy and the Chrysler and the Ford dealers are moving their prices down and friends have told me they can make decent deals with them because their trucks are not moving off the dealership lots, but with the #Tacoma's there is no deals. 😥 Looking at the 2024 #Tacomas in ads and via the many auto channels on KZbin, does *NOT* Begin to give the Tacomas any "Justice Whatsoever" !❕️ Seeing a *_"_**_#Toyota_Tacoma_**_ uP and Personal in Real Life"_* , They Are Super Beautiful Trucks with their new design. 🎖 🤗 I don't know if I can hold off, until the prices come down. . *"I might cave in 🙁"*

If i was in this situation I would go buy the 24 tacoma out of state. No reason to pay high prices there or deal with the limited supply when other parts of the country have loads of them on lots and better prices. A one way plane ticket and the dealer will send a porter to pick you up from the air port. Drive the new truck home.

@@Jason-Samko TY That is a very smart move. 👍 All the car channels are saying, "the *#Tacomas** and Tundras* are sitting on the StealerShip's Lot and not moving, but when I went around looking at my surrounding Toyota Dealerships, Everyone of the very few "Tacomas" had a sold sticker on it. Two dealers had a few unsold Tundras. I don't need a big full size truck. On the "Scotty Kilmer channel". A guy got a full size "V6" Ford Pick up truck for the same price as you would pay for a high End Tacoma. I subscribe to your channel, you have made mention of the many troubles Ford is having with their V8 F-150's. But it appears that their V6 Full size Ford trucks, are *NOT* having many/ (or any) issues.
@Jason-Samko7 ай бұрын
@icosthop9998 glad ypu are enjoying the channel! The ford f150 trucks are great trucks. All the motors have been very solid engines today. The tacoma is a great truck too. My only advise would be to add an extended warranty to any new vehicle today as they can all have issues at anytime for any reason. But don't buy the extended warranty from the dealer. But it from toyota or ford after you get home buy calling them directly and buying the warranty. Will cust less than half as much as dealer charges for the same one.

It’s going to be hard to get a loan on some of these old cars. A co-worker of mine had trouble financing a 2023 scatpack. The bank did not want to finance 100% of the purchase price due to the age of the car and he had to put down a bigger down payment. Dodge is going to be in one hell of a bind when the 2025s come out.
@Jason-Samko7 ай бұрын
That is a very good point! And the dealers know that ao should bring pricing them even better. If I was buying a f150 or 1500 series truck that was a left over 2023 right now I'd expect 25% off
