Here is a secret they dont want you to know! Put detergent wash on the bottom of them i recommend baby detergent wash so you dont get bad chemicals in them and ruin the rubber!

Like just, lay coke on the ground, ir works best if you have something based of sugar, in brazil we have a drink called "caldo de cana" with is made by extracting the sugar from sugar cane, in my times we spill a bit on the floor, stepped on it and then dry the shoes... Works like a charm, coke works less but its also possible

Yeah because acetone and Butanone is better, its very flammable. When inhaled you should contact poison control and if exposed to the skin wash off immediately. But I'm sure the coach's aren't sharing this info with the kids who use it and rub their shoes and then use there hands to cover a cough and expose themselves to the chemicals inside.

It’s mostly not the shoes if the shoes still have rubber in them than they’re good. Use your shoes for indoor outdoor any shoe will be killed in a few hooping days. But indoor if the floor is old and dusty. The owners just need to wax the floor and everything will be good

That’s a good point. Like you said though, they’re super expensive so that’s not always possible. Some players may have to use the same shoes for multiple seasons. So this provides grip without having to overspend on new shoes.
