Hey fellas, try using either a Bowdens rubber clay pad or the carpro clay towel, both can be used and safe with an Iron decon spray

After that foaming you should have done rinsing and then foam again and do the contact wash. Doing contact wash just after water rinsing is failure and leads into lots of unnecessary scratches.

@@jrose7381 why would you risk it? The point is to get as clean surface as possible before contact washing. I like Obsessed Garage but dont imitate his washing methods.

Beauty of detailing is that there a multiple ways of cleaning a car. Everyone’s method is a variation of the last guy. If there was one way then there would only be one soap.

People really need labels on buckets so you don’t get confused or mixed up?

I do. Halfway through the wash, both buckets have soapy water in them (so they look the same). Unless you remember which is which as you move them around the car (I often forget) then labels are helpful to distinguish the difference.

Or just buy two different color buckets…
