Please people stop commenting that Bob is hammered. He's not. He had some cysts removed from his mouth. (Not cancerous) The surgery caused some nerve damage. He's working to improve his speach, but it'll take a little while. Otherwise he's okay, though. Try to show some kindness, people. Update: Bob and Brad recently posted a video about Bob's condition. He has another condition that is effecting his balance and his speech. It does not effect his mind. And it has nothing to do with being drunk. I think they called it ataxia. I'm sure the video is in their playlist if anyone wants to watch it.

You took the words our of my mouth. Can't understand why people keep repeating this over and over. Bob talked about this some videos ago, but still we keep seeing the "drunk" comments!

People can be so judgmental, I saw a woman fall down in the street and she broke her ankle. My mother and I phoned for an ambulance and kept her warm with our coats until they came. Three women around us were saying she was drunk and it served her right. It turned out she had diabetes and had been dieting to lose weight. Some folk won’t let you win either way!

I have not noticed anything wrong at all with Bob's speech, in fact he sounds perfectly normal to me. I do however wish him, sincerely, a speedy recovery from his surgery. This is a clear case where the actual carer needs caring for.....
@anyascelticcreations2 жыл бұрын
@@RobertaBriffa Yes, I hope that Bob will post a comment explaining after every video again. But if not, I plan to with every video that I see. Maybe people will be less judgemental if they know. I hope.

@@NannyOggins That's such a sad story. People can be so quick to judge. Even if she had been drunk she is still worthy of compassion for her injury. How sad that this happened simply due to low blood sugar. I have also been very dizzy lately while trying to loose weight with blood sugar issues. It's not fun. Thank you for being you and helping this woman without judging. Hugs.

Another example of 2 heads being better than one. I’m learning some really good stuff from you guys, and the way that you drag out some bone or other to explain the mechanism makes things very clear. I’m 71, shoot pool 5 hours a day, no smoking or drinking, and I walk a couple miles every day-3/4 of a mile each way to the pool hall, and a bit more walking around the table. And I bend over thousands of times each day. The problem is my neck-I’m 6’2”, and I wear glasses, so I have to crane my neck to not look over the tops of the glasses. My shooting style is about as low as I can go, so I just have to deal with it. My question is, any ideas for keeping my neck looser during play? It’s fine for three hours, then it prevents me from whupping the youngsters. Can’t have that, eh?
@anyascelticcreations2 жыл бұрын
Just a thought, you could have your glasses adjusted so that they sit higher or at a different angle. I do that to mine to suit my acticities. If you have progressive lenses adjusting them like that would throw the prescription off. But considering how much time you spend playing pool it might be worth having glasses especially designed just for that activity. When I worked for an eye doctor we commonly made glasses for people just for a specific activity. (Computer use, golfing, etc) Including special measurements and adjustments to the placement of the lenses and to the fit of the frame before the glasses are made. And then fine tuning after the glasses are made. I think that might help you a lot. PS. I love it when they pull out the bones, too. It reminds me of my favorite anatomy class. Musculoskeletal Anatomy and Kinesiology. (For a different job) Our awesome teacher was always pulling out the bones.
@raystanczak42772 жыл бұрын
@@anyascelticcreations Thanks for the good advice. I’ve bought my glasses at LensCrafters, and the selection of frames is pretty limited. It may be time for a step up-it would be worth it. And you’re right about tuning the progressive lenses for pool-I work in my wood shop, and seldom wear them there, or around the house. I don’t drive, so that’s not an issue. I’ll try it! Look out kids! 🎱
@anyascelticcreations2 жыл бұрын
@@raystanczak4277 You're welcome, and that's great! I've worked at a couple of clinics and found that the biggest difference is in the level of expertise in the staff. A good optition can make a big difference. Even with a mediocre frame. And to do what's needed for your use they'll really need to know their stuff. Including taking into account the adjustment of the frame and the position you'll be using them in before the lenses are made. They'll need to be precise. If I were going to order glasses specifically for something like that I would call around until I found a clinic with staff experienced in something like that. I've known opticians who were and some who weren't. But yes, when you find the right clinic and the right doctor and optician, I think you'll be very pleased with the result. Have fun teaching the youngens how to play!

One really interesting question [ ;-) ]: how does this back-and-forth circling between morning imbibed/swollen discs and evening "dehydrated"/squashed discs work when it comes to our four-legged friends (dogs, cats, horses, lions...)? Since their backs are horizontal all the time there's no axial weight pressure on the discs. Does that mean their discs are always in a fully imbibed condition? And what difference might that make to their backs? Just (really) curious...

BTW the technique of getting out of bed by rolling I do every day and it's definately a better way. Love your videos. I've learned so much from them. Thank you. May I ask, my Mum is really suffering with her back, and has been for about 4 yrs now. She fell backwards off a wall onto a concrete floor. Prior to that she always had the best posture! However, since then she has been in pain, stoops, and began to shuffle slightly. I originally presumed it was all down to the fall and she had lost confidence. She was diagnosed with Parkinson's last December and medication is now helping with the shuffle. The stoop remains, along with excruciating pain across her middle back. Radiographs and scans showed no signs of any breaks, and more recently, ruled out stenosis. The pain is really affecting her quality of life, not being able to walk for more than a few minutes, and difficulty standing to do jobs, eg preparing meals. She explains it as a band of pain across the middle of her back where her bra strap would be (she's not been able to wear a bra for a few years now because of the pain). We went to see an Osteopath prior to the Parkinson's diagnosis who suggested she get a diagnosis for some of her symptoms. He said the pain could be arthritis in the middle back that radiates across horizontally. She's been under specialists since the fall but not had any diagnosis's nor any treatment for the pain, only painkillers. It was once suggested she perhaps should have had a brace at the start, which may have prevented the stoop and pain? I am now considering booking an appointment with a Chiropractor. I would be most grateful if you could offer any advice please. Many thanks, Melanie.

Very interesting topic I learnt that the root problem of disc problems is dehydratation and compression so purpose of imbibe is to absorb the weight bearing. (As you pointed out) Hernia is the core of disc bulging through the anulus fibrosus (which takes in the fluid). So the more hydratated and bigger the anulus fibrosus, the less likely it will get damaged. Therefore discs should be the least vulnerable in the morning when they are full of fluid. Because they dont put increased pressure on the disc but absorb it. I'm pretty sure, you know much more than me so I'd really like to hear your reply. I'm young and want to learn. Thanks!

Thank you so much for this help. I am 2 years into a 2 herniated lumber situation - I just feel so hopeless. I watched your "if you can do at least 4 of these things video" and was happy that I could say almost ALL of them were the way I felt. I don't have sciatica beyond my piriformis which is SO painful on both sides. I can never wake up without them hurting and it's a bad way to start the day. Afraid to exercise, afraid to stretch... I had bought a Peloton and now am afraid to use it- is there a way I can bike on it safely for now? Also love yoga, but they do all these flex positions like roll downs and forward bends. These are bad I assume since my back kills me after doing them? So grateful for your help!

I give Bob and Brad full Credit for being able to walk often without my Cane, to be able to be somewhat comfortable to get sleep at night. ( it was really, really bad after acquiring 2 Herniated Dics in my Back), with the pandemic having taken over what was the usual way of seeking treatment, I needed Help and the Doctor in the ER just wanted to cut me open, had come across this channel a while back and I knew there could be another Option. I'm so grateful you both made a Huge difference in my Life. I still have to be careful getting up out of and such but I'm making progress, 😄 Thank you so very much, I'm slowly on the mend, watching out for any" I need to go to the ER, signs "but so far so Fabulous.
