All I can say is that these three exercises work. In about 3 months, along with a fairly aggressive diet eliminating most carbs and sugar, I went from a 40 tight waist to a 38; and then in another 3 months I am now a 36. I am down 27 lbs and look and feel a lot better. Thanks guys, you were the motivators I needed.

I’ve lost 60 pounds. I learned to read the backs of bags and boxes and measure/weigh one serving size. It’s helped me to lose weight and learn how much to eat. At first, close to 300 pounds, every time I would walk I felt like I was dying. Losing the weight makes it easier. I can easily get 30 minutes of exercise with your slider! It’s easy on my arthritic knees. It gives me peace of mind because I am afraid of falling on ice and snow in the winter while walking.

In the early months of my spinal cord injury, isometrics were a Godsend. I'd like to add that I am a 58 year-old British guy who weighed in at 15 stones in August last year. I moved to the Scottish Highlands to live with my sister and brother-in-law who are firmly on the Keto plan. My brother-in-law has lost almost four stones and now weighs about 12st 5lbs. I didn't want to go into full ketosis as I do like the occasional hot chocolate, and the odd fish and chip supper. However, I stopped snacking, cut out chocolate, sweets, biscuits, cakes, bread, pasta and rice. I can fully attest to the slimming power of cutting out sugar and carbs. I am now 12st 2lbs. My breathing is much easier - I no longer have sleep apnea. I find moving around is much easier, I have more energy and people are commenting on how great I look. My stomach has shrunk to a more realistic size so I no longer require big portions. My feet no longer hurt. The only drawback is that I have had to buy new clothes, but it hurts my wallet in a good way! I have found it hardest to get rid of my belly fat, as is the problem in most men, so I find these exercises most helpful. God bless you guys, keep it up!

@Bob and Brad. !!! From someone who has had severe juvenile onset rheumatoid arthritis since the mid 80's and has been sedentary for almost a decade, I have to say that I believe these exercises will be a gamechanger. Now if you could only recommend some arm, back, butt, and leg exercises that have just as little weight bearing on the joints it would be heaven. Then maybe I'd start feeling like getting my butt to the physical therapist's office. Lol! Thank you guys. I'll check back in month and let people know how things go. :)

Great ideas. I stay away from the gluten and dairy and sugar. Lost 25 lbs so far, in 3 months. I also watch my carbs. Some of the pasta alternatives are still too high with carbs even after taking into account the fiber. I still stay away. Salads and healthy veggies are my go to foods. Feeling better every day. Thanks guys for inspiration. Keep up the good work.

Untrue. There are people who live on bread & dairy--have done so for many generations--and are quite healthy. If you can't tolerate them, fine. As for the weight loss, you will probably gain it back in a year or two tops. Losing weight is hard, but it's the easiest part. Keeping it off is practically impossible. Also, diets cause eating disorders. Meat is healthy, too. Eat some. Just cut the soda, candy, fruit juice/smoothies, and processed vegetable oils. Do NOT put packaged salad dressing on your salad. Make your own salad dressing with extra virgin olive oil or avocado oil. Cook with butter, virgin olive oil, coconut oil or other animal fats. No crisco, wesson, etc. No margarine. Processed vegetable oils cause cancer and insulin resistance. Do NOT starve yourself. Don't expect to look like a model.

10:44 I was low carb for 25 years. I never lost weight. For years my weight stayed in a range of 171-178 lbs. Then it slowly went up to about 185-88. Then 5 years ago I started to rapidly gain weight. Went over 200 lbs. Hovering around 196 now. Low carb doesn't work for every body. A lot of people who went low carb corrected their metabolism by switching to Paul Jaminet's Perfect Health Diet. Got their carbs back up into the 150 gm./day range and saw the weight come off.

So, when doing the 2nd excercise, do we tighten the stomach muscles? I'm kinda tickled that these have not made me exactly sore, but I feel the effect. I've been taking belly dancing for 5 weeks and have been working on my abs ANYWAY, so these are perfect for me now I think. Thanks guys, YOU ARE THE BEST, in my opinion, of course.😉
